Another OPK... + or - ?

I'm not sure how I should mark this one. Do you think I should count it as a + or - ?

Which side is test and which side is control? The look the same as far as darkness goes, but the line on the left is thinner. Hmmmm....could go either way. I say if the left is the test line, then maybe not and if the right is the test line, then YES! What do you think?

That's + to me. The line has to be either the same OR darker than the control line and that to me looks +. Shew what a long surge.

I do have to say that I used FRE OPK's a couple months ago and it was + even after I O'd.

The left is the test line.

Mandy what is going on this month??? I think I can go either way on this one. It is dark, but the line is pretty thin. How long after you POAS did you take the pic?

Ok, if we go by darkenss, they are the same. I'll go research a little about the lines and get back to you if I find anything.

Mandy, everything I read says thickness doesn't matter so YES...it looks like a positive.

I don't know what the heck is going on.

I took my temp this morning just for the heck of it and it was 97.16

I charted for 8 months (I quit in January) and 97.5 was usually my coverline.

I say BD at least every other day and every day if you can and you don't have a male factor until the positive goes away. I remember you saying you only get 1 positive a month so this is really strange. Did you do anything differently this month? I only get one positive as well, but now that I am using a trigger, I don't keep track.

As for charting, I just started yesterday so I am learning. What is the coverline? I'm using fertility friend, but haven't gotten to that lesson yet.

Mandy - Get to bd'ing girl! Get some tonight for sure! That is definitely a positive if you compare it to yesterdays OPK. How are the ew? I would guess since you are also under your cover that you are gearing up to O. I must have missed some posts from you because have you been getting positives for awhile? I have a couple times geared up to O but then my body delays it and then it starts over again until I do. Hope that you are getting a strong surge!!! Have fun tonight!

It looks + to me too. Remember a little ways back, Pamela used FRER opks and got like 6 or 7 days of positives. I remember her saying how she hated those tests and all of them were +. You must be having one heck of a surge!! This is crazy! Have fun bd'ing!

I POAS, washed my hands, brought the test to the living room, went and got my camera, and took the pic. So probably 2 minutes.

We actually are diagnosed with severe male factor infertility. One reason I didn't test right away with an HPT. Our chances of conceiving on our own almost don't exist.

The coverline is a baseline temp basically. If you take your temp everyday you'll notice that before O they are lower than after O. The coverline is sort of your average pre-O temp. Mine was usually 97.5. So since I got a temp of 97.16 this am that makes me very certain I have not O'd yet.

Okay - those kind of OPKs always confuse me, too. In my vast OPK experience, the ones that look like that are NEVER positive for me - if the test line isn't tons darker than the control line, it is a negative.

Yeah, I agree with Tkeys. I get several days of positive OPK's, but I don't mark them as positive unless the test line is visibly darker than the control.

I agree with Tkeys... I don't think its positive because the majority of the line is lighter than the control. You could still bd just to cover yourself...
