A few of you girls have asked about the adoption so here is the update. We are still waiting! I hope we will get an answer soon, but I know this is a hard decision, & it's going to take longer then a weekend to make. The big talk about dh & I was this weekend so if the girl had said no we would've heard something by now. Dh saw the aunt yesterday, & said when she knew something she'd tell dh immediately. She said after the girl makes her decision then she'd call me & we'd set up a dinner or something to work out the details. Dh said he'd try to talk to her today if he gets a free minute just to see where the girls head is at.

In the meantime....the RUMORS are flying!!! We live in a small town where everyone knows Dh & knows who I am (even though I don't know them). People are saying that we have been trying for years since we were married & can't have children. They say I can't have kids. They are all talking about my m/c last year. This is the hardest thing I've ever been through. I have everyone watching me & Dh. I was hurt & embarrassed to know that everyone knows all about our ttc. That is supposed to be private! Then Dh told his mother we may be adopting & that we are ttc. I swear I just want to crawl under a rock! I know in the end it'll be worth it. I just can't believe that now all of our private things are now out there for everyone in the damn world!

We are still TTC until we get a 100% answer. That way if she says no we won't have wasted any months. So either way we'll get a baby in October or some answers in October. Dh is going to get a s/a in October if I'm not pg or if we don't get to adopt the baby. I'm on my last bottle of Ovulex. I did O earlier last month & I O'd while dh was working a prom & we had no bd for like the 3rd month in a row! If we don't get an answer by next cycle I'm getting some fertility blend & breaking out the cbefm. I'll try that combination until October.

So, anyway that's where we are right now. As soon as I get an answer I'll let you girls know! Thanks for listening to me rant!

Pamela- Good luck with the fertility blend and the CBEFM, we can both try them together and see what happens.

I'm sorry that the whole world knows your business. People don't seem to realize that TTC is a private matter and we don't want it spread around. I hope that things work out for you soon and you can forget how hard this whole journey has been.

Thanks girls, This is turning out to be harder then I ever imagined. I have been on an emotional roller coaster since we started this adoption thing. Sometimes I am certain she'll say yes & other times I'm certain she'll change her mind. I'm still holding out hope for this baby. I have prayed everyday about every 30 seconds since we started this. This weekend I just watched the clock the entire weekend. I kept thinking to myself have they had the talk yet? I was just waiting for that phone to ring & for her to say no. I'm setting myself up for a no, but praying for a yes. I mean it's her baby so I think she's going to say no. Then, I hear she wanted an abortion, she doesn't want the baby. Her own mother doesn't even want the baby. The aunt says she's to young & just wants to be a teenager so I think we're going to get the baby! I just keep going in circles! Anyway, thanks for all your prayers & thoughts it means so much!

Oh honey, I can't even imagine how difficult this is for you. Hope people learn to mind their own business and that you are able to find out definate answers. You're in my T&Ps.

It is amazing how everyone can be in your business . . . I was just at a party this weekend with everyone offering up opinions about us and babies (no one knows we are pg yet) and I seriously would have been in tears again if we weren't already pg. One person said that I'm just too busy a person (basically implying selfish) to have time for children, and another person was taking bets on who would be the next to get pregnant and named another couple that is engaged but not married yet. So, I hear ya!

Pamela, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. You have to prepare youself for a very long wait. Maybe this will be an excelent time to take up some kind of hobby of distraction. Keep youself busy of you'll go nuts. If we all go a little crazy in the 2ww - and it's only two weeks - heaven knows how long you'll wait for a definate response. It's crucial to keep positive and keep your mind occupied. You'll see, time will fly and it'll be October already.
