I am so scared though!! PLUS... as long as I'm losing weight I might just keep going until I hit my goal and then do IVF, that may delay us a month.

I have the most regular cycle ever and if it starts being disobedient now when it's time for I will be very upset!!!

Okay, Mandy, here is what I think. You have the rest of this cy, plus you have 3 weeks of bcps, and 2 weeks of stimming and then the 2ww to stick with your diet (which is actually good for IVF, too, to be eating low carb). That means you have at least 8 more weeks, even if you start bcps. And I always lose weight on bcps, so for me, that helps. And I was so worried about gaining all kinds of weight really fast during pregnancy, but I've actually lost some early on, so you can keep sticking to pretty healthy once you get pg. And, let's be negative for a second. What if the first attempt doesn't work out . . . will you be thinking "good thing I did it earlier so we can get to #2 sooner or will you be thinking "wish I had waited one more month." I think if you are doing well, IVF won't derail your weight loss, although pregnant might, but I'm sure you would be thrilled with that result.

Katrina - most people are usually on bcps for 1 cy (some longer) - it suppresses your hormones a bit and it ensures you have no leftover cysts when starting a fresh cy.

Mandy, I'm sorry you are having a crazy cycle - BUT last month with my chemical, I had all sorts of weird stuff going on. AF cramps when I shouldn't BBS hurt at diff times, it was like all of my normal symptoms were all at the wrong times, so WHO KNOWS this may be a great sign of something!

Also, losing weight (excellent job btw) can mess with you I've heard, so it may just be something to do with that too. WTG Tho, I am so proud of you!!!!

Oh and I felt like I had a bruise or did 100 crunches at 6dpo even tho I did nothing!!!

Oh Mandy, I am so excited for you that you may be starting your first IVF so soon!!! Like TKeys said, you actually will have a while to lose some more weight, so it might be a good idea to not let that delay your IVF. I don't mean to discourage you, but my best friend had to use injectables for a few months because her lining took a while to thicken up. Something like that may happen to you, so you may be happy you started the process a little earlier.

I'm am jumping up and down in excitement for you at the thoughts of your first IVF cycle!!! YAY!
