Who has kids that are into activities?
And what kind are they?
Soccer seems to be the sport of choice here, but only because it's so cheap to play lol. Michael, Duncan, Cory and Benjamin play it. Michael plays on the travel team and also ref's games for younger kids, it pays pretty good. Cory and Benjamin play on the same team since they are so close in age.Victoria loves ballet and dance, she is 200% girl lol. Cass asked if she wanted to play soccer and she answered, do I look like a boy.
Of course Christine is busy with college, but she does try and run in the early morning. Christopher would much rather play golf or bowl, while Louise would rather die than play a sport.Since we home school we do everything through the local parks and rec, they are very affordable.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
My boys are playing soccer. My daughter opted for cheerleading instead this year. She's such a girl! I love doing it through the rec center because of the cheapness!! It's great!

I like to wonder if Isabella will be all girl like Victoria or the polar opposite like Louise lol. Hard to believe those 2 are from the same family lol.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
We homeschool, and I would love to get my children involved in more activities. But I am not sure how to find sports groups that involve homeschoolers and don't cost a fortune.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
Isabella (my 9 year old) does Girl Scout's (she a Junior this year) and is starting Fall Soccer through parks and rec.
My 2 and 3 year old aren't into anything yet. I'm looking into gymnastics though.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
no, i have the fortune of having kids that want to play music *GIANT TWITCHING EYED GRIN* so, one set of drums, 3 guitars, a piano, a violin and a eauphonium later...... all I need is a harmonica and a set of maracas.
Nevrmind, the baby has toy maracas, there we go!

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
We home school too - and My eldest DS goes to BB and youthclub where he plays badminton, volleyball etc. My eldest DD goes to rainbows, and the others are too young really. They all play out side on the trampoline every waking minute when the weather is good.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
we homeschool, too and my
14 yo - Girl Scouts, 4H and Choir
11 yo- Girl Scouts, 4H, drama, cooking club
7 yo- Girl Scouts, 4H, ballet
5 yo - 4H
2 yo & 4mo nothing
we kind of have a rule in our house that they're not allowed to "start anything" until they start Kindergarten and that if they don't cooperate with schoolwork they don't get to go. And my 14 and 11 yr old host sleepovers (as is we don't have enough kids in the house) almost every week. Once a month, I allow them to have MEGA sleepovers, we've had up to 35 girls here before.
Our rule is that they have to make the entire house and yard spotless before and after the party. I think it's a fair trade.

Re: Who has kids that are into activities?
We dont do many activites, since scheduling is a nightmare, but the girls love soccer, Victoria wants to take ballet and has taken and really liked gymnastics, and Gabby wants to do whatever Tora does, but isnt allowed until she uses the potty!
