This is a discussion on WOW this board is getting busy within the TTC - Preparing to TTC forums, part of the Trying to Conceive - People Like You category; I was thinking that I'm not really sure who is still here and we have a BUNCH of Newbies. ...
I was thinking that I'm not really sure who is still here and we have a BUNCH of Newbies. So I was wondering if you girls would want to tell me a bit about yourselfs and everyone else here. That way we can all get to know each other better. It's more fun that way I think.
I will start. I am 28 will be 29 in July DH is 34 and will be 35 in July. I meet my DH in 1997 after I moved to Florida from Maine. We dated for 5 years and got married 5 years to the day of our first date. 6 months later we moved from FL to Virginia for my job. I worked for the Federal Govt for a time and now I am a contractor to a Govt agency. We are now looking to move back to FL to be with family. DH and I have been married now for almost 6 years.
I joined this board in 2005,I believe, and I was blessed with My DS in Nov of 2006. I started posting again on this board, when DH and I decided that we wanted to TTC our 2nd. We are hoping to start TTC in the July-aug time frame unless I get the job I applied for in FL then we might wait til next year some time.
As you can see from my siggie we also have 2 cats. I can't think of anything else but if you have a question feel free to ask we we can all get to know each other better.
ok your turn.

My name is Crystal,I'm 31. DH is Mike he is 35 will be 36 next month. We have been married 11 years. We have three children Shaun 10,Kaitlyn 6,and Ashley 2. After Ashley was born I had my tubes tied. I thought we were done having babies. I didn't want to do it,but I made a promise. We were not in a good place financially. But things changed rather quickly! So when my baby was about 3 months old I really started looking into a reversal. I was told it wasn't possible. But I kept having this nagging feeling,I need to look into it again. So I asked my OB/GYN to schedule a HSG,I had that done on 4-11,and I do have some tube left. 5cm on the left and 4cm on the right. my doc referred me to to an RE/tubal reversal doctor,I have an appointment on May 11th to discuss a reversal. I hope to be here TTC very soon! It may take longer to get my BFP but it will be worth it!
what else, I am a SAHM,we homeschool our children. We live in Indiana again,we had moved to Arkansas for a short bit for DH's work & moved back to Indiana when I was pg with Ashley to be near my parents. I am so happy we did. I not only have their emotional support with having another baby but with my DH's current job our insurance pays for TR!
too awesome!
My name is Marleah, I am 24 years old, I'll be 25 in June. DH is also 25, he'll be 26 in November. We started dating in Spring of 2004, got married July 2005 and got pg with DS December 2006. Reuben was born Sept 2007, and I'm hoping to really start TTC#2 in about two months when he's 9 months old, although technically we've stopped preventing already. AF hasn't shown up yet, so it could be a challenge unless my chart shows me ovulating some time soon...
We live in Ontario, Canada. DH works for a production company as a sound engineer, and I'm planning to start a home daycare in September when my mat leave is up.
I am Claire and I am now 37. I have four wonderful children, Alice 17, Jake 8, Scarlett 4 and Amelie 2. We are trying for #5 as soon as my period arrives! Woohoo. I am from the UK but I moved to New Zealand three and a half years ago. My husband is a Kiwi. I am a SAHM that spends her days volunteering at an early childhood facility - that way I get to spend a lot of time with my little ones and be involved in their education. I also have a Grandson, Tyler, that is now three months and is the cutest thing ever!

I'm Jenny and DH is Andrew. We met in June 06 online and married in Spet 07 after a 3 day 3000 mile drive with 2 kids a packed car and a hampster. My two older children and I left Southern California and moved to Southern Ontario, Canada just in time for our very first winter. Our baby girl was born on March 25, 2008. We're not currently TTC (heck we're still not having sex yet - I have to live vicariously through Claire), but like Tai, we'll probably start again when Emily is out of diapers.

I'm Randi (29) and DH is Jon (30). We've been married for almost 5 years. I joined this board in 2005 and got PG on the first try with daughter Marissa Kaitlyn who was born in Sept 2006. I truly think knowing my cycles and charting helped us be so successful - but who knows!?!
I'm anxious to TTC again soon, I absolutely loved being PG and I would like Marissa to have a sibling. It all depends on whether or not I'm starting up my own business. If the business is going to work out this year, then we'll be TTC in July or so. If the business has to wait until next year, we'll probably TTC next cycle.
It's nice to have the board hopping again! Welcome to all the newbies!

Hi I'm Kara (33 on May 4) and hubby is 32 (33 in June) and we've been married almost 8 years (on June 17). We have a daughter Hannah who is 5 and was conceived on the birth control pill. We have a daughter Ava who is 3 and was conceived the first month of 50 mg Clomid and using fertility monitor. The plan is to go off birth control end of July and start Clomid beginning of August (50 mg again due to very mild PCOS). Doc says if not pregnant in 3-4 months to call her and she'll bump up dosage to 100 mg but has no reason to think 50 mg won't do trick since it worked well last time. We would like two boys so we'd have two boys and two girls but will be happy with whatever gender God has in mind for us. If next baby is a girl we'll try sooner rather than later for boy. We didn't want them to be as big a gap between our 3 year old and next baby but our lives were crazy busy...we moved to a different state, both started new jobs, kids started new schools so the timing hasn't been right. Now it is and I literally can't wait for August to get here. Look forward to getting to know all of you.
Hello from PA!! I'm Melanie and I'm 25, my husband who just was discharged from the Army for medical reasons is 24. We've been together 4 years and married almost 3 (Dec. 3rd). We have 2 dogs that are my babies! 1 is a pitbull/lab mix and the other is a german shepard/greyhound mix! We haven't really being trying-trying to have a baby before this...just kinda leaving it be what it wanted to be. And since he was gone for about a year while he was overseas we just didn't have much time anyways! lol Now that we have moved back home and are settled in and both finally got jobs we really wanna start to have a baby. I want nothing more than to be a mom!! I can not wait. I am gonna start charting on FF as per advice on here...and I am going to find out if I have PCOS as soon as I can call for an appointment since I seem to have a few of the symptoms! Good luck to all on all what you plan too do!!! And thanks so much for all the support I have recieved already!!!
I haven't been here too much since we actually started ttc, but I'll make an introduction! I'm Lisa, I am 29. DH will be 22 in August. We are ttc #1. I have PCOS, and am completely anovulatory without medication. We are finishing up with clomid now and are moving on to injectibles/IUI if this cycle is a BFN.
