Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Missy - hope you are now feeling better, and GL at your dr's appt!
I finished my Clomid and I'm waiting to O. I think I might actually O in the next few days . . . but we shall see.
As for getting the board going again . . . I don't know! Maybe we need a Question of the Day, or a topic of the week (TTC related) for people to comment/share about. Something stupid ranging from charting tips, to favorite brand OPK, to vitamins, to what do you do to improve chances, to greatest fears, what you long for most . . . I don't know, maybe somneone else has suggestions.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Missy - I'll bet you're so excited to get to see the baby. Are you still on team Green?
Tkeyes - Good luck on the O. I hope the Clomid works for you.
As for me...I'm just trying to get through the nausea that clogs each day. I've not been posting much, because I don't want to bore people with how sick I've been feeling. Sometimes it just feels like all I do is complain.
We felt the baby move the other day. I know 11 weeks is a little early, but it was definitely baby moving and not gas or anything else. I wonder sometimes if it could be twins. I'm alot bigger than I'd expect to be at this far along.
We're hoping to get word on the houses we put offers on so I can see a midwife soon. Clinics out here see you depending on where you live, so I don't want to start seeing someone only to have to change clinics in a week.
It's so frustrating sometimes too. None of my jeans fit anymore and I've lost weight. The selection of maternity clothes I've seen out here leave something to be desired. It's like the stores don't realize that it gets cold in Canada and pregnant mommies in the north need something other than tank tops, t-shirts, and capri pants to wear.
We bought our wedding rings today. If all goes well, Andrew and I will be getting married on Saturday. Thought I'd toss a picture of the rings we got.

Missy- Im sure everything will be ok with your baby. I cant believe your 17 weeks already! WOW
Tkeys-I hope that the clomid will do it for you and you will O very soon. GL!!
Jenny- Im sorry you have been feeling so sick. Hopefully it will go away very soon!
I am 6 weeks today and I am doing ok. I get a little nausia now and then and am more tired than normal. Dh and I have not dtd in like a week b/c I was having spotting after we would dtd. So far there had been no more spotting! YEAH! Its kinda scary when it happens. My doctor appointment is on the 25th. its just that financial and insurance part, but maybe we can sqeeze in an u/s. We shall see.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Hey ladies!!
Missy--glad you get to see the baby soon! How exciting!!
Tkeys--good luck, girl! I have PCOS, too, so I can definitely relate to your TTC troubles! Good luck with the Clomid!
Jenny--hope you get to feeling better soon, and your rings are gorgeous!!
As for me, I THINK I've ovulated, but my chart is nuts, so who knows. If I'm basing it on CM, then I'm pretty certain it already has happened...I had some SERIOUS EWCM this time, which is surprising considering I'm taking Clomid. We've gotten lots of bding in, so that's good! So I'm considering myself in the 2WW once again!!! I would LOVE to have an early June baby, since I'm a teacher. Keep us in your prayers!!
Baby dust to all!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
I don't know who all has read about my recent cycle, but it definitely had me on the edge of my seat. AF was a week late, and I really thought this was it. Not so, she made a grand appearance this morning. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Needless to say, today was not pretty around my household. For a minute, I actually thought I was losing it, and so did DH. This was the cycle that I had my 30th B-day too, so that was just a little more salt in the wound for me. I'm actually a little relieved to be starting a brand new cycle, just hope this one is more the length I'm used to!!! This last one was 38 days long, mine are usually 28-30! Hope ya'll have a good week and God bless all you women and your babes.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Missy--I'm sure things will go well at your dr. appt. Will this be the ultrasound where you get to see what the baby is? Are you all going to find out?
Tkeys--I hope you O this week and everything goes well and you get baby this month.
Niffle--Your rings are beautiful. Hopefully the sickness will die down soon.
May--Hopefully your nausea will die down soon as well. At least it's not too bad.
Sarah--We are on that 2WW together. If you don't mind my asking, what school do you teach at in Lexington here? I used to be the music teacher at Ashland Elementary. I taught in Richmond last year. I had to get out of it for a while though. I'm selling health and life insurance now. Big change, I know.
As for me, like I said, I'm in the 2WW. I O'd a little earlier than I thought I would last week. Hopefully the one time DH and I dtd will be enough. I'm sure it won't, but here's to hoping. My mom and I were talking this weekend about some of the pains I've been having (my ovulation this month was a thousand times more painful than any period pain I've ever had). She's afraid I've got endomytriosis since it runs rampant on her side of the family. My great-grandmother suffered with it for years. My grandmother had a hysterectomy at the age of 28. And my mom had it removed twice before finally having a hysterectomy. I guess I really should get into a doctor to go ahead and make sure I don't have any problems like that before we really get into this baby making process. Would probably save a lot of heartache.
Well, didn't mean to rant on. Hope everyone has a great week. Sending lots of everyone's way and hoping everyone gets their if you test this week.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Hi everyone
Man, as most of you know I'm coming off a rough cycle!
Missy- I was also curious...still team green? I couldn't do it!!!
Tkeys- I agree. I love the question of the day and topics to start conversation. I was just thinking today that this board has become very slow I love it, so I hope it picks up!
Jenny- I love your rings!! HOW EXCITING!!! I happen to think this is the perfect time of year to get married....our anniversary was today Best of luck!!! I can't wait to see the pics.
Megan- Hope you can swing that u/s I'm sure you welcome ANY chance to see your little bean Good luck!!
Sarah- I *think* I'm ovulating tomorrow. So we'll be cycle buddies again. Although I'm not sure you want me! hahaha I think I've finally totally lost it!!!! Good luck to us both!
joyismine- I also had a cycle last month that had me thinking we'd hit the jackpot. I was so convinced at one point that I'm still not totally over the disappointment. I know what you are going through. Good luck. Today's cycle brings as much hope as all the others! Hope this is it for both of us!
Cammie- Sounds like maybe you should see the doctor. But I've been having O pain much worse than usual too. I guess that is just part of the "joy" of not being on the pill for me. Good Luck.
AirForceWife2007- I think most of us non preggies are all reaching that point of feeling like each cycle we are just going through the motions. I know I am...are you guys too??? I've felt like I have nothing new to say either. I've kind of already lost that feeling of total excitement. It's almost an anxious feeling...just knowing this cycle will end like all of the others. It's a crappy attitude and I need to change it.
As for me....Well most of you were there for my INSANE cycle last month so you know how awful it was. I SO thought it was my month. I was/am very disappointed. The good news is that I think I'm ready to ovulate again. AF came on the expected day but it was so light and weird I thought MAYBE it was something else. So if that WAS AF then I'm ovulating over the next two days sometime. So that's good.
I'm taking a break from charting and OPKs. I need it mentally. I've said it before but I want to thank all of you again for listening to me obsess and be totally crazy, and taking time out to write me a message. You are all so great!!!!
LOTS OF BABYDUST TO US ALL!!!!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Jenny - the rings are gorgeous! I hope everything works out for your wedding on Saturday.
Megan - hope you feel better soon, and GL at your dr's appt!
Sarah - I hope you have a good 2ww - I'm sorry your charts are so crazy. I do know how frustrating the PCOS is - hopefully, the Clomid will work for both of us.
Andrea - I'm sorry you had such a tough cy - hopefully this one will end with a BFP for you!
Kerry - I'm sorry this process has been so tough for you. I think we all feel that - there are a whole bunch of us on this board who have been trying for a while, and the time will come for all of us. Hopefully, taking some time off will help you recharge. Didn't you start a new job? Hope that is going well for you. And when you are ready, maybe going to a dr would help you feel better - I know it was such a relief to me. Sometimes, just knowing that everything is working can help you feel better . . . and if there is an issue, that is good to know, too.
Cammie - hope this cy is the one for you! I'm so impressed by all the weight you lost . . . you look amazing.
Mandy - I hope this cy is without drama for you. I hate all that confusing stuff! Are you still going to the doctor? Hope you O in the next day or two, and I hope stepping back a bit helps you feel more relaxed again.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
We aren't really TTC anymore so that's not really tough. We are just being newlyweds and it will happen when it happens. Getting pg is not a high priority right now. If it happens then we are blessed. If it doesn't then it wasn't the right time for us to get pg. I've just been busy/have a lot of stuff going on and don't have anything to add that is all. Best of luck to all of you.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
No clomid this time...I didn't get to the pharmacy to pick it up and I should have started it on Sat. Guess we'll just wait and see if I ovulate on my own this month. If not then I will have another round of clomid 100 to take next cycle. AF was a long one this time with lots of cramping leading up to it. Just waiting for her to leave and then we'll start bding.

Missy, you are sooo much stronger than me! Congrats on getting to see the little bean!!
Kara/*valley*girl* ~ Wasn't your doctor's appointment this week? How did it go??
Okay, I am waaaay too lazy to do a personalized post, but I am so sorry to all the ladies who are going through emotional difficulties during this TTC roller coaster. s to you all and for more soon!!
As for me, it looks like will be here in full force tomorrow, so I am restarting my Royal Jelly (I stop it after O, it can, supposedly, cause uterine contractions which impede implantation) and for a different outcome this cy!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 9th September
Krissy---I'm sorry you think the witch is on her way....but it ain't over till she shows, right??? Think of me if you get a chance--I'm pretty depressed that the thermometer thing didn't work this time around, but I'm gonna wait till the next cycle (if there IS one) to buy a BBT one. I had some EWCM today, which totally confused me and upset me beause DH is out of town till late Fri night!! I'm so confused. I'm just waiting at this point. NOT patiently. We had lots of BDing so it won't be for lack of trying this month, that's for sure!
Missy--your u/s pic is so amazing. It made me tear up!!
Good luck ladies!! I'm praying for you all!!!!
