Icon10 Weekly TTC Thread - 7th January

Gooooooood day to you my fine ladies of SK!

How goes the TTC efforts? Anyone got any symptoms they want to share? Any lurkers ready to join the TTC journey?!

I O'd this week, though as we're not 'officially' trying I don't believe we'll have gotten anything this month. We haven't been 100% not trying but our timing was off for this month as we were quite busy with our first week back at work after the holiday.

So how goes it?! I'm eager to hear!!! and to those of you who are craving it!!!! xx

Ahh! I'm so nervous. I've been feeling really nauseated, tired, (TMI warning), wet, and a little crampy. I never feel crampy before AF...I usually just bloat! If my cycles are getting back to normal, AF should show on my birthday or right about there...so I'm testing tomorrow. I won't test on my birthday if it's negative tomorrow (I don't want to be bummed all day). I'm going to try to wait until next week to test again if it's negative. I really have no idea when AF will show because of how crazy my cycles have been.

However, I have a good feeling this time...we DTD like crazy this last cycle. Please, please, please let me get my BFP tomorrow!

Good luck! I'll be testing tomorrow too, although I have no symptoms. I had AF-like cramps and low back pain at 10dpo (please be implantation!)...I caved and took a test yesterday (11dpo) and it was a BFN. I'm not feeling too excited to test as I don't want to see another BFN. I hate the 2WW!

Emily, I feel the same way! I got a BFN this morning and while logically I know in my head that it's still possible to get a BFP, since I don't know when exactly I ovulated (or even if I did), I'm still bummed. I'm planning to wait until next Monday to test again...but I just can't get excited about it. I figure if it's not positive next Monday, then it's probably not going to happen since we've been slacking on DTD. I remember some more fertile looking CM aorund the 31st-1st of the month...so I'm hoping I'm simply O'd later.

Good luck to you!

Well, I tested this morning, expecting a BFN since I have zero symptoms and I got faint BFPs (two of them!). I'm shocked...here is a link to my post on the 2WW board (hope it works).

Congrats Emily!

I am 8dpo (pretty sure on that), I've had one and off crampiness since my pap on Thursday, kinda mood swingish, and definately more acne than normal for this time of month, oh and it's normal but my breasts are killing me...

Isn't 8dpo a strange day for an ultrasound, even if they're just checking for cysts? I'm not looking forward to drinking my weight in water later today! On the other hand, suppose I have implanted over the weekend, it's not likely they would see anything yet right?

They wouldn't see anything in an ultrasound, but if you think you could have had implantation over the weekend, you should be able to test any day. I think my implantation was Friday night and I got my BFP this morning. Good luck!

I'm feeling pretty bummed I am thinking of taking provera (I have a prescription at home) to trigger my cycle and to see if I'll O sooner. I am also going to call and make an appt with another Dr. my friend was telling me about. It is an OB/GYN office but they also specialize in fertility issues so I can get fertility treatment/advice and my insurance will cover it since they are an "OB/GYN" office and not a "fertility clinic". She LOVES them!! I think I will make an appt with them just to discuss my situation and so they can write a new S/A order for my husband since the first one is over a year old and since it was from my old Dr.

Congrats Emily. Have a H&H 9 months.

Sorry, I have been gone guys. I just needed a break. I am waiting for AF. I don't think we hit any of the right days. We will start back up next cycle.

Good Luck Ladies.

I just called and made an appointment with the new office (the one my friend recommended that are also fertility specialists). They couldn't see me until the end of Feb though !! Oh well, I'll just keep charting and hoping to O until then. Maybe I can turn that visit into an "OB" one instead of just a "GYN" one!! HA! HA! I'll keep you posted. I am anxious, however, to see my records from my old office. They will be mailing them to me. I never really can remember exactly what my bloodwork results were. The last ones I had done were early last year but they are the ones that caused her to say I had PCOS. I am curious to find out what my "actual" counts were.

The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in wee hours of the morning .

After a labor lasting approximately 22 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and a little patch of brown hair.

Congrats Emily!

We're 1 step closer to being able to TTC. I finally moved, and I'm getting on DH's insurance. Technically we could TTC now, which is of course what I want to do. But DH really wants to wait until I have a job. I've gotten some calls back about applications I put in, hopefully I will have something soon. But we're thinking for sure this summer. I don't want to have to wait for doctor's appointments and that stuff once we decide to start, so I'm going to make an appt once I have insurance and get the okay for clomid I can ask the dr to call it in whenever we're ready.
