Icon10 Weekly TTC Thread - 5th August

Hello All!!

I wanted to get this up early so that you all can start posting. Like I've mentioned before in order for me to keep the stats list up to date I need everyone to give me at least one update a week, those who don't/aren't will see their name drop off the stats list until they can become more active. I don't do this to be mean but all of the girls here like to see your progress and if their left wondering if you're still waiting to O or actually in the 2ww it doesn't help us to be supportive to you.

My apologies on not updating now, I have to leave the house in a matter of moments to head to work...I will update, hopefully, on my break.

Lets hear 'em!! to all!!

Well after a pretty rough week, we have managed to get back on track pretty much. We went to adopt a cat so our other cat would not be lonely after losing our dog. We looked at cats and couldn't find one. On the way out the door (literally) we bumped into a lab/retriever mix puppy. It took about 2 seconds (again, literally) for both DH and I to fall in love. Unfortunately he was taken. So we went looking yesterday and adopted a 5 week old golden retriever. We can't have him for another week but he is ours His name is Zach. He's precious and just "feels right". We can't wait to bring him home.

In TTC news...there really isn't any. Temps are very steady...I'm just waiting to O. I should be entering the 2ww about one week from today.

I am still waiting to O. I have gotten almost a weeks worth of highs on my monitor and only have one stick left. I've also used all my opk's. I think if I don't get a peak on the monitor I am not going to be getting anymore sticks and just see how this cycle goes w/o the monitor/opk's. I don't feel like putting anymore money into this cycle since we just bought a car!! I should be O'ing soon though since my cp moved from medium to so high I can't feel it. LOL.

Missy ~ How has the m/s been for you? When is your next u/s?

Mandy ~ I completely understand about pets just "feeling right". There is something that happens when you see the pet that you know is just meant for you. When we adopted our dog, I had initially gone to the Humane Society to adopt a different dog I had seen on their website. She had already been adopted, and when I walked in to the back of the shelter, I saw our dog and I just knew I had to adopt her. She's been in our home for five months now Congrats on the new furbaby... you must post pics!!

Kerry ~ GL on this cy!!

I'm just hanging out in the 2ww. Although, in all honesty, I'll probably wind up testing next Sunday. I'll be 11dpo, so hopefully I'll see something then.

How is everyone else doing??

Mandy-I'm so sorry about your dog. Zach sounds like a great dog though. I bet you are excited to bring him home. Good luck catching that egg this cycle!!

Sam-it sounds like O is close, good luck!

Krissy-Your timing is great! I hope you get your BFP Sunday!!

I hope everyone else is doing well. I hope to see another wave of BFPs soon! As for me I had an u/s last Thursday. My baby had a nice strong heartbeat and is measuring on target. I'm still in shock.

Mandy - Congrats on the new dog! How exciting - I hope he brightens your home again.

Kerry - I had the same situation last cy - I finally ended up getting my peak on CD 19, and I didn't think it would ever happen.

Lily2584 - Hope you get that BFP soon!

As for me - I'm still waiting to O - all signs are looking good, but I'm not exactly sure when it will happen. I have O'd between CD 15-CD19, but I'm not 100% sure that what I have down as CD1 is CD1 (crazy cy last month). So, it could happen anytime in the next 2-7 days.
