Icon10 Weekly TTC Thread - 2nd March

I can't believe that Tyler is going to be 4wks this week, I keep wondering where the time has gone because I feel like I just left the hospital yesterday!

How is everyone else doing? I'm so eager to hear all of the catch ups and I am hoping that there are some more BFP's around the corner for our board because we could sure use stalking someone else's pregnancy

Congrats to Claire too on her Mirena removal

and to all!!!!!

Missy-
4 weeks already. where has the time gone. How are you doing with sleep and BF?

Claire- Do you really think you will wait till may?

As for me I have a question..... Have any of you taken and antibotic and BC at the same time????? The one I am on says it MAY affect the BC and to use another form of protection.... of course DH and I had UnPro the other day and I am worried that I could have o'd and then maybe got a home run???? Started the meds cd 6 and dtd cd17 that's about 10days after i started the meds?????? any thoughts?????

Well, AF arrived for me, and I started bcps - the beginning of my IVF cy!! I have to be on bcps for 21 days. 2 weeks from today, I am going to start my lupron injections. I am out of town for work all next week, so I think the time will just fly by!

Missy - wow - 4 weeks already! time really does fly.

Claire - I'm so excited for you to get started.

I've never had a problem with bcps and antibiotics - it can be an issue, but it has never affected me!

Missy - It seems like just yesterday you got your BFP!!!! I can't believe he is here and almost a month old already!

Katrina - It can be a problem for some women. There are some women who've gotten pg due to antibiotics counteracting BCPs. GL for you on this, whichever way you want it to go!

TKeys - Ahhh it's sooooo exciting you're going to do your first IVF!! I really believe this will be the one for you.

Claire - How exciting that you are cycling so soon after having your Mirena removed! It's a great sign!

As for me, I'm just trying to relax and enjoy my pregnancy. I've had absolutely zero morning sickness so I am both pleased and scared at the same time. Just a lot for a sticky bean! It's interesting how one loss can taint your perspective on pregnancy.

AF started for me so I am waiting to O again. I am still waiting for my Glucose/PCOS testing results. I am giving it a few more days to see if the doc will call before I start trying to figure out what is going on. I hope they didn't loose the labwork cause I really don't want to go through that again... or at least not until I'm pregnant.

Oh yeah and it was so weird (in a good way) to have AF start about the time period when I would have just been O'ing.

Sadly, BF has ended for us. I pumped for three straight days and was dry as a bone. Tyler never got a good latch so he couldn't help my supply come in. After returning my rented breast pump and not putting Tyler to the breast, I've had no tenderness and no leakage so I guess I'm officially done.

He eats like a champ on formula and I know this way he is getting the nutrients he needs. I feel bad BF'ing didn't work out for us.

I too feel like I just got my yesterday, I can't believe that he's already a month old! I take a gazillion pictures a day because I don't want to look back and think 'Man, I should've taken more pictures!'

Sleep wise we're doing pretty good. Tyler is getting better and better at sleeping through the night but I can't say the same for myself. Every little sound that he makes I hear and the one's that concern me are like lighting a fire under my bum making me jump up and go check on him. We still have him in our room, in his bassinet, I'm not sure when we will move him out. It makes me nervous to think about him not being that close.

I love him though so much, so glad to have him here with us but I surely do miss being pregnant and find myself rubbing my rapidly deflating belly every now and again. I'm already back down to pre-pregnancy weight, now I'm just waiting for the all clear from the Doc to start working out so I can tone and shape my body.

Any of you c-section Mama's remember how long it was till you got the all-clear to resume normal activities? I'm assuming at my 6wk check-up I'll get it, I hope. I want to wear regular clothes again
