Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Sounds like a great week/weekend for you, Missy!
I've had a crazy few days. Had my fibroid out on Friday, and I'm feeling pretty good so far. I think the spotting is finally stopping, and I'm off the painkillers, so all good signs.
I had a big family event that I attended on Saturday all drugged out, and then my niece decided to make a surprise appearance a few days earlier than her scheduled c-section at 6:18 am on Sunday morning, weighing in at 6 lbs 13 ozs! Today is my first real day getting to rest since the surgery.
So, my plan is to finish up my premarin and provera this cy, then hopefully resume TTC'ing . . . I really hope we are allowed a cy of IUI in December when we resume, but it is a bit too early to know for sure yet.
Other than that, it has been a good week.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Missy~ Glad you had a relaxing weekend!
T~ Glad surgery went well and that you're doing better!
Me~ Ugh CD26 here and no cross hairs on FF yet. I do have to admit that I have been terrible at charting this cycle so my chart looks very squirrelly and not reliable at all. So if I'm on a 28 day cy this month then AF is scheduled to show up on Thursday and if I'm on a 33 day cycle then she's scheduled for Tuesday of next week. BUT "if" I'm pregnant then she won't show up at all , duh right?! LOL! We shall see though. Right now everything is a symptom and I am over speculating. in other news though, can we say hello puberty?! I started breaking out this weekend and I can't figure out why. Of course I'm thinking it's a symptom but I'm trying not to even bother with it. It is annoying though, I haven't broken out in years and then suddenly zits started showing up, grrr. I feel like I'm 16 all over again.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Oh yeah, forgot to post a plan duh! Well since this is the first month of TTC we are going to do this for the next 6 months. If I chart accurately for the next 3-6 months I can get a better idea of when I o. In the event that I am a late O'er my doc will put me on Clomid to speed things up. God willing though, we will be able to do this on our own.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
We're about 1 month out from 'officially' trying. I'm a bit nervous, but really excited about doing this all over again! I was reading through my old journal from when I was pregnant with my first son and it brought back so many memories! We're really hoping for another Oct or Nov baby.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
I'm still pregnant. I wish the baby would move around more though. It makes me worry sometimes. I've been feeling her for the past 7 weeks, and the past few days she just hasn't been as wiggly. Unless she is, and I'm just not feeling it.
A plan huh? Well, I've finally gotten some good-ish news on my midwife situation. I'm on a waiting list for a clinic about 2 hours away. I need to get off my lazy butt and call around to different places to see if they'll take me and aren't full for when I deliver.
Ha! And as I type this, the baby wiggles. Anyway, I've posted this picture in a few places, but not here yet, so you guys get to see what a 17w 6d belly looks like when I'm not sucking it in. Keep in my DH took the picture while he was lying down.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Hey, I also don't have crosshairs yet but I do think I've o'd. I'm battling a cold, which really stinks. If I'm not prego this cycle, I'm going to visit a different doc than my one who is easy to get in to; the GOOD one I've recommended to some girls here. Then we'll see...I really wanted a summer baby since I'm a teacher, but looks like that might not be in the plan.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
I got a bfn at the dr yesterday. And I'm spotting tonight along with a big temperature dive yesterday and today. So on to cy #2! I'm going to do clomid again, but I don't have to see the doctor again until I get a bfp (lol, postive thinking).
I'm leaving for work tomorrow, I'm not sure how much I will be on during my trip.
Has anyone had any luck buying opks on ebay? Just curious.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Missy, I can't believe a human is growing inside me either, it is definitely a miracle!
Tkeys, I know I have said this before but, I hope the Provera does for you what is did for me!
Bunny, I am no stranger to long cys, I pray that you did O and you are pg! GL!
Michelle, I need to start writing in a journal for this baby, that is a great idea. GL starting your TTC next month!
Jenny, You look great!!! I can't wait to be showing!!! I must have missed something, b/c you are saying "she" did you find out your are having a girl?!?!
Sarah, sorry you are feeling sick, I hope it passes soon! A summer baby would be perfect for a teacher, unless you don't like your class
Lisa, sorry about your bfn, hope you have a better chance this next cy!
As for me...the sickness has begun. Two days ago I started feeling yucky in the morning. I forced myself to eat b/c I knew I needed the nutrients.
Yesterday I only ate plain Cheerios all day and was able to stomach a chicken sandwich at dinner. And today I nibbled on saltine crackers all day at work and that seemed to quell the nausea, but if I stop eating for over 20 mins. I get nauseated.
No vomiting yet, hopefully never! But the feeling of nausea all day long is getting old, fast. SO if you think about it, say a prayer for me that it passes quickly! Thanks ladies!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Awww Kara, I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I too had all day nausea. If you can stomach it, eating small amounts more often is the best way to go. Right now, it's probably best to eat whatever you think you can hold in, even if it's not totally nutritious. You'll have plenty of time to make up for it.
We haven't found out the baby's sex and I don't know if we're going to. It's easier to say he or she rather than it or "the baby" every time. DH and I are both having such intense girl vibes, we decided it was a girl and apologized to it in advance should it come out and be a boy.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Jenny, DH and I are trying to come up with some nickname we can call the baby for that reason too! I'm not having any gender vibes yet, so we need something neutral.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Aww thanks Kara! I will definitely keep you in my prayers with the hopes that your nausea and morning sickness goes away quick!
Well I FINALLY got crosshairs on FF! Geezzz that didn't take long, lol! Apparently I O'd on Friday so I am scheduled to test on 11/09 (my birthday, ironic huh?!) unless AF shows up this Thursday if she's on a 28 day cycle or next Tuesday if she decides to go for 33 days. Eitherway I am officially on pins and needles. Luckily we timed bding just right so there's hope, hooray!!!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Kara - Sea Bands!!!! They work wonders for nausea! I wore them from about 9wks or so until almost 16wks and it kept me from throwing up and kept the nausea to a minimum. Now I did still have it and it was all day like yours is but it definitely helped me to get on with the day without feeling so awful!
I had the Preggie Pop Drops as well, though the further along I got the more nauseated they made me feel when I would try to suck on them so I abandoned those and sucked on starlight peppermint candies and chewed Orbitz sugar free peppermint gum. That so helped me too!!!
Hope you find something that works for you hun, I always had Saltine's in my purse so I know exactly where you're coming from!!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 28th October
Kara - Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!! How exciting!! Summer is a really nice time to have a baby.
I have actually done a journal with all my pregnancies. Its so fun to look back and see what things were similar or different. My oldest now too likes to read it with me.
