Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Well I'll go. AF found me and I think it has finally stopped. We are on Cycle #6 and our 6th month TTC. I can't lie, we really thought we would be pregnant by now and it has been a little hard dealing with the 6th month ttc milestone. But we are making it through.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Missy - I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well . . . I hope that you begin to feel better now. How exciting that you are starting to feel movement . . . I hope the "fun" party of pregnancy begins right now for you.
Kerry - I'm sorry that your journey has taken longer than expected. I guess just keep with it . . . and if you have any doubts or questions, there are probably some basic tests that could be run on you and your husband that are non-invasive (like bloodwork to confirm ovulation, a s/a) just to be sure that things are all good, and all you need is to have patience.
As for me . . . this was a really rough cy. I have PCOS, so I knew that things might not be working right, but everything looked so good on my chart. I had some cramping and pains last cy, but my dr just thought my CL cyst burst, and that it wasn't anything to worry about since I seemed to be ovulating regularly, etc . . . But Thursday I got back the results of my 7DPO test from this cy, and my progesterone was only 4.85, which basically means I'm having an insufficient ovulation - likely not ovulating a mature egg. So, they can put me on progesterone to raise my progesterone, but that alone won't help me get pregnant if the egg isn't any good. So . . . I have an appointment with an RE on Sept 7, and my dr. may prescribe me Clomid this cy to improve my ovulation, but I was pretty down because I'm sure this means we are in for a long journey. I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm definitely sad . . . it is hard to give up on hoping for a BFP for the cy at only 9DPO and at the same time give up on conceiving naturally. I sure hope the Clomid works for us and quickly, but I have a feeling this is going to be a very long road.
In sum . . . I'm waiting for AF (should be here tomorrow or Tuesday), and then I'm back to waiting to O. I should know tomorrow if I'll be doing a Clomid cycle.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
I hope you feel better soon Missy!!!
AF just found me on Thursday, so she should leave around tomorrow or Tuesday. My hubby and I will just be starting Cycle #1 of TTC. I'm really excited. I'm hoping now that I've lost a bunch of weight, it will be easier for us to conceive this time. We tried before two or three years ago, but didn't have much luck. Of course we didn't really try too hard because DH wasn't really into having a baby at that point in time. Family history could go either way in my case. There are members of my family that a guy looks at them and they get pregnant and then there are also members of my family (like my mother) that tried for years to become pregnant. So we'll see how this goes.
Everyone have a great week!!!!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Hi Girls!
Missy- I know you have had a tough time so far...I'm pulling for you and hoping the best part of your pregnancy is just beginning and you'll get to enjoy it until delivery day
Kerry- I know exactly how you feel. I will be starting cycle # 4 and already at this point I'm like "wow, I didn't know this would be like this" I guess I just thought, stop taking the pill, have sex when you ovulate, you're pregnant. Not so. Hang in there. I hear the average is 6-9 months so hopefully your is just around the corner!
Tkeys- I'm so glad you'll be trying to get some answers. It might be a longer road than you wanted but you'll have the same wonderful end result Good luck to you.
Cammie- So excited to see that you are just started down this path Best of luck to you. Sounds like we are close to the same cycle. I think AF will be here for me Tuesday. Which means I'll ovulate again in about 16 days. Maybe we can obsess together in the 2ww
As for me....
I was a little down earlier today. My temp dropped .1 degree as it usually does at 12dpo, I expect a major diver tomorrow. Meaning will be here Tuesday. I tested this morning with FMU and got a stark white so I know this isn't our month. I'm just looking foward to getting AF over with so I can move on to next cycle. One thing I have noted is that I never really get EWCM. I get more cm than usual around ovulation but it's lotiony, not really wet. Maybe I should try Robitussin?

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Missy I know how you feel on the whole Team Green thing. I found some really cute yellow outfits at the baby store last night, but I don't want everything we get to be yellow or green to start out with.
Kerry, sorry it's taken so long. Hopefully, your bfp is just sitting there waiting for you soon.
Tkeyes, good luck on the progesterone and clomid. I hope it gives you the results you're looking for.
Cammie, good luck on cy #1!
Mandy, Robitussin is a great idea. Let us know if it works for you next cycle...assuming af shows up (I still have hope she won't).
I'm still struggling through the nausea. It's not even fair at this point to call it morning sickness, because 90% of the time, I feel fine in the morning. It hits me mid-afternoon up until bedtime. I have yet to actually harf though, not for lack of gagging. I would love to just be able to vomit and get it out and over with, rather than the constant nausea.
My tummy has a nice little round bump when I lie down, but still looks flat when standing up. However, my jeans are starting to get uncomfortable when I'm sitting, and they must be unbuttoned for any type of car trip.
I think we found the house we want yesterday. We spoke with the realtor while we were there and filled out all the paperwork last night. My fiance is faxing them back to her today and we should find out soon if we've been approved. She said the owners have already had multiple offers, but they turned one down because they wanted her to lower the price, and they turned the other down because she didn't want to move in until the end of the month. We like the price and we want to move in yesterday....so cross your fingers. The only downside is no air conditioning, but this is eastern Canada and August, almost September. I doubt air conditioning will be an issue for many months to come.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Fertility Friend confirmed that I ovulated on CD18! Our b'ding timing was GREAT and FF has given us a "high" chance of conceiving. My due date would be May 18, 2008. Just waiting to test now.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
hello Ladies, To those that are prego, hope you feel better soon!
Those of us TTC, Baby Dust all around!!!
I am still trying to figure out my cy, FF says I O'd cd41, but af has not arrived yet and I had a stark white bfn. So my options are...I didn't O on cd41...I am having an anovulatory cy...or I could be pg just with a late implantation.
So it is still a waiting game for me!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Hey ladies--I am on CD 10 and doing the charting/temping thing for the first time. I do have a question-does FF tell you when you ovulated, or is that only if you sign up and pay for it??? I really don't want to have to pay anything, so I was just wondering. It's been fun charting, my DH thinks it's pretty cool as well. My birthday is next week which is right when I should be ovulating, so that would be awesome if it worked out that way. I read something once that said women have a higher chance of conceiving around the time of their own birthday.
Good luck to all of you--I'm so happy to read the updates. Stephany, I have a good feeling about this month for you!

No it will mark ovulation if you have one of the free memberships.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Congrats Amanda!!! I'm so excited for you!!
I'm only on CD#5. Gots a little ways until ovulation. Gives me time to figure out the whole FF thing. I bought some OPK's today to help me along this month. Of course, hopefully, all it will boil down to is some good baby making escapades in the next couple weeks b/w the DH and me. Hehe.
Have a great rest of the week everyone!!!

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Missy - congrats on feeling movement! That's great and exciting. Gap usually has several gender neutral things in each line. And it gets marked down pretty quickly. That's what we've used mostly.
Kerry - sorry you're feeling down for not being preggo already. I hope it's soon!
Stephany - I really do hope this is your month! You really deserve it.
Tkeys - I hope it's not as long a road as you think it might be - more like a quick jaunt! From what I've read about PCOS, it's pretty challenging.
Cammie - good luck w/ cy#1! I hope that's all you need.
I was really gung ho and wanting to start TTC right away - even though we had decided to wait a few more months, but I've been feeling under the weather and our baby has been a little sick and not sleeping, so I've been worrying about TTC until the baby is quite a bit older. I know there is never a perfect time, but I do want to try to time it optimally. We have an extended trip this spring, and I either want to be out of the first tri or just starting it or TTC on the trip (which may net us a girl, since no girls seem to be conceived in my town ). I'm just worried about having three (two fairly young) and TTC another, I guess.

Re: Weekly TTC Thread - 26th August
Hey girls,
Sorry I have been MIA but this cycle is really messed up. My cycles are on average 31 days. Last month it was 28 so we missed O completely. This month we DTD loads and then around cd 27,28 I had tons of ewcm all day. So, we DTD only once cause I thought well just in case. But really I thought I would have never O'd that late. Well, here it is cd33 and still no AF or BFP. I took a test today. So I must have O'd around cd 28. I don't even know if we caught the eggie in time either. AHHHH this is so frusterating. Anyway, it is out of my hands and if I am meant to be preggers I will be. I have been trying to keep my mind of the 2WW, (more like the 1 month wait) by buying clothes for my daughter on ebay, I just discovered it. Well, I hope you girls are doing well!!!!
