For those of you in Florida this is really good for you to pay attention too because most of the cases of this infected peanut butter were in fact sent to the Central Florida area.

So please check and be careful!!

Thank you for posting this Rachel, I wasn't able to crawl from my death bed yesterday to get on here to write about it. This cold is seriously kicking my booty!

We had to throw away two jars. The plant is in Georgia, so a lot of the jars wound up in Tennessee, too. I thought we were going to have a crisis. PB is one of my son's four food groups (applesauce, peanut butter, chocolate milk, and rice). When we went to the store, I really had to dig to find a jar of creamy PB - everything that was left was crunchy and he just won't eat that.

We checked ours and it was ok, but I went over to my sisters house and she had one that was almost gone. She said that come to think of it some of her kids had been sick and thrown up and then were ok and the only ones that did not ever get sick were her and her oldest dd (who are both allergic to PB and did not have any). We of course threw the rest in the trash. Scary huh!
