Gotta question about ovulation. I'm on CD 27 and have not had a positive OPK yet . . . I've seen a line for the last 5-6 days but they never got as dark as the control line. I'm usually a later O'er (CD22 or 23) but can't recall a time when I've waited this long to get a positive . . . I also think I'm just confused b/c I've had ewcm and high cp the last few days. Just wondering if anyone else has ever not gotten a true positive, but had other signs and still O'd?

what kind of OPKs are you using. some dont get as dark as they are supposed to be. like the internet cheapies get dark (but not as dark) then get lighter.... are yours getting lighter or just staying the same amount of dark? if they are getting lighter then I'd guess that you already O'ed and just didnt catch it at the right time. I have read taht somtimes even if you test twice a day you can miss the window fora pos opk
Remember my delima with OPK's this month! I never got a line with dollar store ones. I ran out and switched to answer brand ( the kind that comes with twenty and you dip in your urine) It gave me a positive that very day!
I went with my CP however and it was right !!! I say go with your temps, CM, CP. But change brands of OPK next month ( If there is next month )

I'm feeling a little better today -- I ran out of the Target brand OPK's yesterday so last night picked up the 'Answer' brand 20 pk (the one you were talking about Summer). I used one this morning and it was positive . . . so I'm *thinking* (er, hoping really) that it's a valid result. Think we'll continue to bd
