Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to drop by and say Hi to all you wonderful ladies. I keep up on you. I come in and check out your posts every once and a while to make sure everyone is okay.

Anyways, I thought ya'll might find this funny. Today I was at the grocery store and this mom was shopping with her daughter who was probably about 7 years old. The little girl walked by me and just kind of stared. Then she asked me if I was going to have a baby. I thought the mom was going to come unglued. LOL! She was totally mortified. I told her it was fine, and then I told the little girl that yes, I am pregnant. Her mom looked so relieved. Kids are so honest!

I didn't realize how big I have gotten until I saw this pic. I thought you girls might enjoy this.

I hope you are all doing well, and I am sending you all lots of New Years baby dust!

Awww thanks for stopping by, Kristen! It's always so great to hear from our graduates!

Kids do say the darndest things - I'm sure the Mother had a huge sigh of relief to find out you really were pregnant lol! Though I don't see how you could be mistaken for fat, the only thing big on you is your cute little baby bump!

And what a beautiful bump it is, I can't believe you're going to have a new bundle of joy soon - any idea what sex this one is?

Stop by anytime and feel free to pop in on conversations! We've got a lot of new girls here but some of us 'oldies' are still hanging about!

Thanks ladies, you are all so sweet! Yes, Missy, we go in tomorrow for our big u/s. So, I will be sure to stop by and update you as to which sex we are having. Maybe it is a girl this time?????? My youngest son has said from day one that he is having a baby sister, so I guess we will see if he is right. My oldest son was right when he told us that he was having a baby brother all those years ago. It will be great to see the little one on the big screen again, it's been a while!

I hope you are all doing well. SO, now that the new insurance, etc.. has all kicked in Missy, any baby plans?

Well DH has commited to a time frame of 6 - 12 months till we actively start TTC'ing but has been hinting it would be a nice anniversary or birthday present for me to have a BFP (June anniversary, July birthday) so I'm thinking it's more like 5 - 6 months and I'm so excited about it!

Though I remain reserved and try not to talk about it too much because I know that he wants things to just happen. I won't go back to temping when we first start trying just because with the years worth of temping I did do I feel pretty in tune now with my body and can tell when I'm O'ing etc. Plus, we want to leave it in God's hands...if he thinks we are ready, then so be it! If it gets to a point where we've been trying for awhile and nothing is happening, then we'll weigh out our options.

For now, we're just making sure everything is in order in our lives before we make the big jump! I'm taking on a new job, a government job, so that will give us some extra money and if the insurance is better there I'll take up their's instead.

I can't wait to hear what you're having, Kristen! I've been thinking pink for you all along! If it's another boy, will you keep trying? If it's a girl, will you try for another anyways? I really love that you stopped by here and posted a belly pic - not only is it wonderful to see how far along you've come but it is also so heartwarming to see that you haven't forgot those of us back here at the Preparing boards. Lisa stops by sometimes too and I know the other newer ladies around here could really use hearing from some of our graduates like this every now and again!

Anyways - I better get off and start getting ready for work, good luck with the u/s and I'll keep my fingers crossed for pink! Don't know if this helps at this juncture put here
