~sigh~ I know this is my first cycle really TTC but I am totally confused. I took a OPK on CD 9, 10. I skipped day 11 b/c I forgot. Day nine the test line was starting to get dark and day 12 the line looked the same. I thought for sure I would get a positive OPK in the next couple days ( 13, 14 ? ) Well my line has gotten lighter every day and today I didn't even get a line.

My CP seems to be getting higher though?? WHAT IS GOING ON?>>

Any thoughts?

i know nothing about cp...sorry i cant help ya there but there is info i found about it and i posted in on my ttc 2 + years board....but i get confused easily! it on the helpful tips and link thread. good luck

I have never used them either. I just keep DTD around my O date. So you must be due anyday now so keep and it will happen.

OPKs are good, but not 100% reliable. Trust what your body is telling you (your temps, CM and CP).

I HATE OPK's. I never ever got a true positive. Never got dark like the control line. I trusted my body instincts and here I am with 2 boys.

But again, with my second son, the handy dandy fertility monito helped. Got him on the first try.

btw, with my first, it took 8 months. No monitor for him. Used OPK's for the 6 months and then decided to ONLY chart (no opk's) for 2 months.
