Default Hello, newbie here

Good day ladies,

My name is Dominique and I am 27 years old. I have been lurking the Due in June 2007 post while I was pregnant with my 1st born. He turned 1 on June 3rd.

It's my first time posting. My DF and I would like to ttc soon and just wanted to come on the posts hear to make time fly as we will probably start ttc in the end of the year.

I am very afraid it will take us longer than expected for the bfp for #2. It took us 6 months for #1 and he was planned. I was charting and doing everything I could.

Thanks for letting me get in your group.

Dominique

welcome to the board. I can't wait to get to know you better. I think my DH and I will be trying closer to the end of the year as well (even though it says in my siggy that it's july.) Look on the bright side too it could happen fast this time I say your first month.

Hello there katrina. I am happy to be here and to know you. Your little boy is really cute.

I really do hope so too that it goes fast. We are planning for the end of the year so that I can go into labor around September (when I am going to finish school).

How long did it take you before you got your bfp with Marshall?

Hello Tai,

Yes, well I am starting to feel the wait harder and harder. I know there is only 6 months to go but I feel the urge to TTC like I did for the first one. I am just obliged to wait as I can't really go into labor in the middle of school year.

Know that we celebrated Malik's first anniversary, I feel that I am at that point were I am confortable to have an other one.

Hello and
I am also planning to start trying again towards the end of the year. I have the same reason as you for waiting; I need to finish the school year and deliver in the summer months, but I am getting so anxious and I can't wait to be pregnant again. Hopefully it wont be as rough this time around I am nervous that it will take as long to conceive my second because it took almost 5 years to get pregnant with my first. In the beginning we weren't trying, just not preventing and after a few years of not becoming pregnant I changed my perspective and getting pregnant was all I could think about 24/7 . I pray that number 2 happens much sooner because I hate all the stress of the 2WW. Welcome again and I look forward to getting to know you over these next few months.

Thank you very much. I was one of the lucky ones who got the BFP in the second month. But I think it is normal to worry about how long it will take. The 2WW is the worst even though I only had 2 of them I don't see how other so it for months and months.....

I'm with you on really wanting to start now but I know that if i did there might be a chance I have to pass up a job that I want. So I wait... But it will be worth it if we can move back to FL. I feel the same way I did when we started TTC Marshall. I wanted to start sooner than the plan we had and it was all i thought about. The girls here are a wonderful resource as you can almost live through them and get your "fix". Time will pass quick and before you know it you will be seeing that BFP.

Hi Darcie Leanne,

First of all your little girl is such a cutie. She looks like a little angel with her little blue eyes. When you look at her you can at least say she was well worth the waiting 5 years. I really do hope everything goes faster for you the second time around.

I was charting and checking my cervix and doing everything I could do the first couple of month while I was trying for Malik. Turns out I wasn't finding the eggwhite type of liquide (forgot what it's called). Well I bought some Geritol Tonic (people who were ttc'ing said there was a baby in every bottle), so I purchased it by internet as we don't have it here in my province. I took it right after I was done with AF and got my BFP right after. I did get the egg white type of liquide while I was on geritol. I don't know if it was just the right time for me or if it was really the geritol but let me tell you that next time I go down to the states I will be buying an other bottle.

I am happy I found somebody from the same country as me. That I was the only one from Canada and felt a bit alone.

Dominique
