Default Anybody have similar experiences?

Hey ladies,

I am 13 DPO, I haven't had any "symptoms" until yesterday I started to feel slightly nauseated after my snack and dinner. I also have had an extremely pounding headache since yesterday that only seems to subside when I eat something. I haven't really heard any of these things being preg symptoms. No breast tenderness or frequent urination. My temps are staying high and normally this is when they would start to drop.

Anyone else experience anything similar to this and get a BFP? I still can't test until Sunday, because I promised DH, but if I get more symptoms maybe I will break down and get a couple from the Dollar Tree!

The nausea is always a good sign (one and only time in your life you'd be thankful for nausea!) and perhaps a lack of breast tenderness is a good sign as well, meaning no AF?

Here's hoping you're getting some early symptoms!

hey girl... I have always been told that you will always start your period 12-14 days after ovulation. ( The time before you ovulate can greatly vary but after ovulation it is always 12- 14 days. - unless you didn't ovulate) So I say if you don't start tomorrow (14dpo) then take a test tomorrow.

I can tell you that if you are 13dpo then you may be feeling symptoms. Its just how your body reacts... I felt kind of yucky a couple of days before I got my BFP !

LET US KNOW!!

Oops I am 12 DPO, not 13! I read that your period starts 12-16 days after O as well, so I will wait a couple more days! I am pretty sure that I O'd because sice I have charted all my pre-o temps have been below 97 and all my post-o temps have been above 97. I had one low temp on 7DPO, possible implantation?! I hope I am preg, but that is also why I don't want to test too soon! I don't want to get my hopes up Again! Thanks for the encouragement!

Sounds good! I think you will be safe to test at dpo14 - my tests have all been positive then. ( I have been pregnant twice, one that ended sadly in mc and then my Miles) With Miles my hcg levels didn't double as fast as they should and I still got a faint positive at day 14.

But I totally understand you wanting to wait until your sure... I am just excited and want you to test he he he

Thanks for your excitement, Milesmommy!

I am excited too, but we have DH's bro, wife and two nieces coming to stay with us Friday through Tuesday. So if I test on Friday and it is a BFN I won't be able to test again till Wed!!!(We only have one bathroom and I don't want to risk them finding out!) But I may start AF by Sun. if not pg.

I just have to trust the Lord and take it one day at a time! If I am pg this baby would be due very close to Christmas, which I think would be a great present!

Am sitting on pins and needles waiting with ya.

Isn't the wait the WORST?? Even though a BFN is disappointing, at least it's an answer, the questioning and trying to decipher the cycle is the hard part.

Hi! I am a grad coming back for more....

First, I have heard of the headaches as an early pg symtom. I think maybe hormonal? (Of course, pretty much every symptom can be attributed to PMS too, can't it? LOL)

As for testing....FRIDAY! And I can attest to the ability to POAS in bathrooms and not leave a trace of evidence for the next occupant, even when your exit is observed. LOL If you need tips, I am a complete POAS addict. Ain't nothin' like watching for those two little lines! (The long-timers here can probably regale you with the stories of my dozen or so HPTs with Joey.....and my dozen or so HPTs with the miscarriage I had just before that one. STOCK TIP of the day: BUY whatever company owns First Response b/c when I get back in the saddle again, you will make a FORTUNE! )

Anyway, I am thinking +++++++ for you!
