Baby Eczema
Ok....Lilly has this....it started out as a dry patch of skin on her elbow pit (lack of a better word), and then it moved to her wrists, armpits, behind her knees, and then around her eyes. She has always has a small spot on her arm that would come and go, but then out of nowhere it started to pop up EVERYWHERE....so I took her to the Ped. and he said it was eczema. He game me some allergy meds to help with the itching, some sort of cream for the spots, and told me to lather her up with good lotion 3 times a day, use soapless soap (J&J baby wash is soapless soap), and at bath time...get her in and get her out...no playing. He also told us not to introduce any new foods, products (had us switch to Dreft detergent) because this could trigger it.....well nothing that we have been using has been different except I tried Gerber's Giggles and Grins baby wash. I stopped using that and it's been about 1 week now and her skin still looks really bad...especially around her eyes.....I can't put the cream up there because she rubs her eyes....but even her arms look bad.....
Anyone have any experiance with this? How long does it take to go away and does it ever go completely away? TIA
