Well Ladies......................................
.................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............Cooper called....we got our match ( our first choice)
they told me to discuss the news with my dh and let them
know for sure on Monday... yahooooo!
we had our perinatologist appt on Tues
he discussed risks of carrying a preg at my age
but was sweet and said that is "why" we are here.
I asked him how old his oldest patient was that he treated
and he said 55 WOW
Since the donor is a paid donor this means she gets 2
recepients me and another couple.
Cooper said they are still waiting for the other couples decision.
Looks like I would start bcpills in Jan
and with any luck transfer in March ( yikes another bday)
God help us....now the nervousness begins!

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: Well Ladies......................................
{{{{{ Thank You }}}}} Jacqueline & Michelle
I am going out Monday to buy a scrap booking journal to start
writing down my experiences and journey to show our little one
how very much she or he was wanted so that they may show
their children and so on and so on........generation to generation.
I cant remember if I mentioned this in my last post so I will say it
again.........when I got home from work Tom was downstairs painting
our den...I asked him if he wanted to see the pic one more time of
our donor?
He simply looked up and smiled.....and said.........no need to
I am looking at the mother of my child (for that one he got a great
big hug)...

Re: Well Ladies......................................
Congratulations, Barb! I've been lurking for quite a while (even on the infertility boards before I got pregnant) and I've been sooooo hoping you would get some good news. Scrapbooking this sound like a great idea. Your DH is soooo sweet. Isn't it nice when they know just what to say and mean it too?

Re: Well Ladies......................................
Cara...Thank You so much for coming out of lurking to
post such a sweet message. Our families are not too supportive
of us becoming parents b/c of our ages so we are keeping
the whole de process a secret (sorry to say)
when we became preg (2 yrs ago and then m/c) the comments
were it was prob for the best b/c starting a family at 45
is just too old and selfish to the child.
So I share my journey and happiness with you ladies here on
this site b/c I have never heard one negative word.
I know whatever happens is in Our Creators hands so I am
putting my fears in his heart so that I may be able to
rest and concentrate on our journey. I see the pic of your little one
Kara and burst at the thought of having one our our own.
She is precious!
{{{ Thank You}}} again from the depths of my heart.
