Default soo quiet here now

Wow it is soo quiet here now.

Anyone using the monitor? I keep getting wacky cys. I had one that was high from cd 6 to cd 17. This cy I am on cd 16 and no peak. I don't know if this means I am coming to the end of my ability to conceive or what it means. Any ideas?

It doesn't mean you can't get preg. or can't O, thank goodness. I've had that happen a number of times. What i've been doing when that happens..... well first i should mention that i save all my test sticks for the cycle and put the cycle day # on each one. That way i can see what's going on without having to rely on whatever the monitor decides.

If you save the sticks, put them in the right order and compare the lines. The estogen line(dark most of the time) should start to get a little lighter around the time of ovulation. The LH line will get darker. If you see this happen to the point where both lines are about as dark, then you should ovulate in a day or two. It doesn't matter what the monitor says. For me when that happens, but the monitor doesn't pick it up, i keep checking until my temp goes up. If the temp doesn't go up, then you haven't ovulated.

For one cycle, i kept getting high but no peak, so stopped checking around day 19..... my temps said that i ovulated on day 22.... long after i had stopped bd'ng............... grrrr

So the moral of the story is....
the monitor isn't perfect,
sometimes human judgement is SO much better, and
only temps will tell for sure after you O.

I'm so excited, i just have to share.... on the test sticks this month, the 1st time the monitor said Peak, the LH line still looked really light to me. The next day is was REALLY dark, almost black, and estrogen line was extremely light.

P.S. 2 things you can do to improve how well the monitor works.

1st, change the batteries, even if it doesn't seem like it needs it.

2nd, Very gently clean the slot. I used a Qtip dipped in alcohol and then squeezed out the excess so it was only damp, not dripping. Carefully clean both sides, because it uses an optical reader.

I like Jess' ideas. I don't think you are at the of your fertility. I had no peak one cy, and I know others have too. You obviously O'd. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope so, I keep worrying about menopause coming.

I will change the batteries and clean the reader. I never thought to save the sticks though. That is a good idea.

My temp did go up and it is the highest for the longest it has been in a long time. The monitor did not peek and I stopped testing after cd17. According to FF I o'd on cd15. Nothing seems to agree anymore. I have all my ewcm between cd 6 and cd 10, and my temps go up between cd 13 and cd 16, to top it all off I never have a cy more than 28 days. We are now trying from cd 6 until af arrives as we never know when I o.

I am hoping that if not this cy, next will be the one. My DR, not OB, prescribed me Femara to start next cy. My DH is hoping that just buying it will get a BFP

I sure hope so.

A true miracle drug. Don't have to take it, only purchase it.

That really sucks. It probably is due to the bfing. Good luck and lots of baby dust.

Sounds about normal for BFing though Jenny. I thought your plan was to ease off of it? I can totally understand if you could. Heck, Kevin just stopped in Jan.
