Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

I was just coming over to post!

Everything went just fine today, now I'm in the dreaded 2ww! Let's see how many symptoms I can come up with before I test I didn't even feel the catheter this time, I guess pregnancy made it easer?

Of course, I didn't sleep at all last night. I think I finally turned off my light and pretended to sleep around 3am, but was up at 6:30am because DH had to be at the lab by 8am and it's about 30min away.

It was kinda weird going there with Vivian in tow. I was torn between staying in the car with her (or going walking, etc.) because I didn't really know how people would take a toddler at an ART/IVF clinic, KWIM? I think that for the most part people were happy to see her, and us, because she is an IF success, and we're trying it again. At least that is how I would take it.

We went back to my doc's office for the IUI. He's pretty cool about it, just called him on the way from the lab and he met us at his office to do it. I like him, he showed up in jeans and a t-shirt, totally casual.

So, Barbara, how ya doing?

Hi Kara ......We both made it ....
I am snuggling in with the 2 embies we transferred.
Lying low per instr with only bathroom runs for next 3 days.
Tom waited outside, too nervous to go in....I made peace
with that...he is spoiling me....(an I am going to enjoy every
minute of it )

I though about you while I was in recovery room....that
at the very moment you were prob having yr IUI......

Now the 2ww begin I'll be cheering us both on

Hugs!

Barb

Barb and Kara, I'm so pleased that you're both doing well and nestling in. My RE called yesterday with yesterday a.m.'s E2 levels, said it was perfect. We did the trigger shot last night (my first IM shot, not so scary after all). So we're still on for the ER at 0700 tomorrow morning. Luckily we're only 20 minutes or so away, so we won't have to get up TOO early. To be honest, I have a pretty big on-line homework assignment due at midnight tonight (last week of final master's class), and I'm focusing on that, if you can believe it. With everything else, I haven't even started it, so I need to devote a few hours to it. I'm actually glad, since it'll take my mind off tomorrow a bit. I'm supposed to take my first dose of Valium this evening and the last one an hour before the procedure. I'm not sure what it will do to me tonight, so I don't want to take it before I figure out this marketing financial exercise...ugh.

As far as I know, we still are working with 16 follies and my lining was "perfect, according to the RE. As a matter of fact, he's mentioned "perfect" for most of my results, and said I'm really pushing the grade curve for my age, so I'm going to stay positive.

I'm feeling pretty sore around the ovaries today, and sort of swollen, but nothing too bad.

Thanks so much for all your good wishes and thoughts, and I'll let you know tomorrow how it went.

Sharon

Sharon, for some reason I thought your's was today too. . Everything seems to be right on track for you. Now get that project done, take that Valium and get to bed. I always hated procrastinating on a project and then the pressure to finish it all at once. Seemed I did it every time though. I'll be thinking of you at 7, as I put my oldest on the bus at 6:45a tomorrow. Best wishes and update us when you can.

Wow, Sharon, you got Valium? I'm soooo jealous! Working on that master's project will be a good distraction for you! Good luck tomorrow! I know the feeling about the ovaries, mine are perfectly sore right now.

Barb, you make that man spoil you and enjoy every minute of it, you deserve it! You know, after lurking on here for so long and following your story, I think it's pretty cool that here we are in the 2ww together!

We did it!
