Ladies,

My dh come home today and says his first cousin Renee is pg first trimester. he has been explaining to her all the time and $ etc we have spent on getting to the point we are at coming up next week.

She says to him, well I will donate some eggs totally in confidance from the rest of the family if this doesn't work next week.

I think holy ****, by the time she has this kid and we go through all the stuff i will be ready to retire LOL

Well at least its better than nothing I will be 44 in 2 years so I guess its nt that bad, dh says she doesn't bf or anything so maybe she ouwl be ready 2-3 months after birth I can't imagine the freakin Ontario doctors allowing her so fast after being pg but who knows.

There is a real problem up here, they changed the laws, in the old days sperm donors were allowed to be compensated, now no one is.
We have no compensation for sperm or eggs!
No wonder the US attracts so many of us from up here!

There is a shortage or sperm up here, which being first cousins one would have to use DS as well as it is really hard to get clinics to do DE-DS in the first place.

Oh well its worth keeping in my back pocket, although I can't really believe it LOL

I can't believe tomorrow is the 31st I am a whole day behind!!!
I totally forgot I have a u/s tomorrow morning anyhow

Well, at least you've got a possible back up in the wings. And 44 is not that old Misy. It's too bad the Canadian laws are so stringent. Makes things difficult to say the least. Keep us posted with all your news andthat U/S result. How are you feeling pulmonary wise?

I am feeling great actually, I am taking LOADS of vitamins and am putting on weight cripes even my boobs are growing.

DH is really helping and doing great with all of us we had a hard time thru xmas....

My ultrasound shows my lining at 5-6 mm not sure what that means.

Cooper emailed me cos I was talking about Plan B and C LOL
they said the donor I am using past recipent is still pg with TWINS and her egss are awesome regardless of how many

They think I will get a BFP also, now I ma gettiing hyped

My lining isn't thick enough as of the u/s reports from the technician only today.
The official report will come in tomorrow. Also my bloodwork will come in tomorrow.

Meantime I am upping my dose of estrace

Looks like maybe I was low in estrogen before all this started.

I am very upset, looks like it could be a frozen transfer, they said it was the same success rates i don't believe it.

Barb BTW Kathy just told me over the phone the suscess rates are only 52%, either ffesh or frozen adn the only do 3 day embies, perhaps you should verify the 60% someone told you...
