Need Some Encouragement!!
Hi ladies...........
Well, I am feeling a little discouraged and thinking that it is never going to happen again for me, I am having a birthday tomorrow, yes, I will be turning 41 and just feeling really depressed.
I feel like I am getting old and that my chances of having a healthy baby r dwindling fast  .
Please give me some encouragement ladies, I need to hear that it will happen for me and I will get to hold another little  in my arms before too long.

all you have to do is look around this board at all these pregnant women over 40...
These ladies are good luck, I got pregnant TWICE by just showing up and going on about how I was afraid I was too old...

It can happen! I'll be 41 right before this one is due, and my screening gave me the same odds as a 31yr old for a healthy baby. Just don't give up! You already have 5 beautiful children so you know you can do it!

Dianne, your chances are still really good at only 41 years old. I had my last baby at 42. Keep the faith and believe in your heart that you will one day hold another baby in your arms. I really believe you will. (((HUGS)))

 , thank you ladies, I really needed to hear all of that  .
I know that it probably will happen, as we will be moving onto IUI next cy, but I have just found out that I only have one patent tube (had TR surgery) and with turning 41, I know the chances of having a healthy little baby, r against me.
I just have to think positive and try and keep my chin up right  .
Thnaks again ladies, u r all the best and I think I should hang around here more often  .

I'm 42 and I'm 24 weeks preg...naturally. I tried for over two years and it just happened...it just takes hope and lots of sex..lol Actually the month we conceived, we'd basically stopped "trying" and only has sex twice the whole month. My husband is convinced that once you stop worrying and trying, it will happen...that's what happened to us anyway.
It's true, there are quite a few of us preggos over 40 on here now...and it can certainly happen to you too!!
