Default My hormones must be out of balance

Yesterday was CD3 and my breasts are so sore I can't stand it. My nipples were even tender. Today is CD4 and AF is gone. It was over in 3 days! I hope this is not a sign of menopause because I am not ready to give up TTCing yet!!! My temp also spiked up yesterday and this morning I forgot to take my temp before I got out of bed but I woke up hot and am sitting here at work with my face just burning up.

UGH!

My Jewels....12/07
Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

I wouldn't worry about early menopause just yet.
Unless you have a history of early meno in your family.
This sounds like a wonky cycle.......were your bbs sore on cd1?
Are you sure that was cd1?

Sher,
It's funny you bring up the hormone thing because I know for a fact that mine are off. I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this book in the past, but I picked up The Infertility Cure and I can't say enough about it.

Before choosing this book, I read a lot of reviews on it because of course there are so many books out there that claim to be the answer and they're not.

I love the idea that it talks about fixing problems with chinese herbs. The author is careful to mention how not to use certain herbs "If....." which I like. There is a brief questionaire in the middle of the book that helps determine where problems exist and then tells you what can help balance it. It's also full of acupressure and acpuncture areas that increase circ., balance your insides and help with certain problems. Oh, and it talks about things that can lower our FSH too!

At 43, I'm grasping at whatever I can! Just thought I would share!

Oh yes, I am definitely sure when AF arrived but myy breasts didn't get sore until CD3. They are even worse today.

And yes, I did take an HPT yesterday morning just to make sure and it was definitely a BFN. Not pg. My breasts are swollen and hurt...just like after O. And I am having gobs of EWCM today. Weird cycle.

My mom started menopause at the age of 45.

Okay, I just wrote you a long response and this stupid thing timed me out!
Short version:
You may have a virus, this cycle for me was all over the place and didn't make sense, I ended up with a very bad case of influenza for cd 13 - 15.

If you are worried about menopause, have your FSH done. I had a very short cycle this summer and much to my surprise and relief my FSH was 6.7, the doctor said stress can affect your cycle and the Holiday season can be very stressful to some people.

Okay I typed this fast so sorry for any typo's or bad sentence structure

Don't you just hate it when you type out something long and it gets lost? Arggh!

Pauline, I had my FSH tested last year during my CCT and the RE said I failed. I've subsequently been told my numbers weren't too bad but like I said - that was over a year ago.

I am in the middle of a lot of testing for my blood sugar problems and that could be affecting it. I am also in my 3rd cycle of coming off of BCPs. I decided last night to not worry about my cycle so much as the blood suagr problems are more important at the moment. I do still have lots of EWCM this morning. Maybe my body is trying to stabilize after my messed up cycle last month. I bled longer last cycle and I o'd late - my normal 27-28 day cycle last about 36 days! Maybe this is compensating for that.

Thanks everyone. Sometimes it is best to just talk it out then let it go. I can't control it anyway.

I also had a light AF this cy. It was 4 days of light bleeding and that was it. I don't think I O this last cy so maybe that's why it was so light. I actually don't think I O the past two cy. I have also had EWCM right after AF then it dries up and I O several days later. Sometimes I don't get EWCM again when I O. I don't know what to make of this. Any ideas what's going on?
