Dear friends,

Sadly on Dec 6, I woke up with severe pneumonia yet again, however this time its both lungs. I have been extremely ill. Now I have a hyper airway syndrome as a result of the pneumonia's I have been having since July 06.
I just started on predinisone after 2 rounds of super antibiotics.
I have lost 10lbs that I didn't have to lose, and couldn't even walk outside until a few days ago.

Needless to say I am now on medical leave from at work, and trying to get healthy for our transfer late Jan. We are the last group from the last matches to go.

I am CD 3 and 2nd day on BCP so we are gearing up now.....
So for my stats I wouldn't know where I fit now...LOL

One bad thing about sharing the eggs is we may not get a second round our of the deal. I already tried to pick a sole donor, before our transfer but they won't let me due to the fact we have not done our transfer yet.

My donor had already been picked by a different couple and offered to us, like you but opposite.

I am very skeptical this is going to work at the 11th hour, stats show so many losses. Anyhow I am trying to be positive. We have paid for everything and now are just waiting.............
At least I have a few weeks to gain some weight and try to get healthy.

Oh Melissa! I am so sorry you've been so ill. I hope it won't effect your transfer status. Please get better and healthy. I'll pray that things go perfectly. Rest if you can. Keep us updated as you go along.

Melissa....I was wondering where you were?? Oh My God!
I had no idea or clue you were ill.....I know just how scary
having lung problems.....I have secondary asthma from reflux
"gerd" and I took medical leave for 6 months back in 2002.
I wish I lived nearby ....I would baby you back to health
but I am sure your dear family will get you right back on track.
If you can make pastina and drink a ton of chicken soup
keep hydrated to keep your lungs from working so hard.
If you can elevate head of bed ( I did on cinder blocks)
got rid of my pillows but head of bed was way up high.
It worked..I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

I also try not to think of only getting one shot...I am praying
for 20-25 eggs...so Tom & I get more than one shot.
Again I give it up to our Creator or I will get nuts.
I bet we're right after you guys..maybe we'll be getting our

I took myself off the Estinyl cause I was tired of bw and u/s
so I will halt off my sxs of menopause cause I know good things
are around the corner ( for ALL OF US)
