I haven't asked a dr. yet, but can you do medication for a cycle if you aren't doing iui/ivf/ect? And if you do, what will it affect?

I did 5 iui cycles with clomid/hcg with no success. Last year i got preg. twice all natural/no meds, but lost both. Now i haven't been able to get preg again since Oct'06. I'm not sure if i should be considering medication to help, or if it won't make a difference.

Hi. I didn't want to leave you hanging without some response, but I really don't know much about meds. I think your doctor would be best to answer that, especially since he/she knows about you the best. Hope everything works out.

Well ... many women use Clomid without IUI or other interventions and get pregnant, so I don't see why you couldn't try injectibles and other meds. I would check with your doctor, though, because like Jennie said, he/she knows what's going on with you.

For me, IUI was the key. We tried for 2 TTC years unsuccessfully but the first injectible/femara cycle with IUI we got pregnant. BOTH times.
