May updates on graduate Moms, babes and children
This is a discussion on May updates on graduate Moms, babes and children within the TTC - After Age 40 forums, part of the Trying to Conceive - Age and Experience category; This thread is dedicated to updates on our children. All are welcome.
How do our children grow...........
Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: May updates on graduate Moms, babes and children
Hey there, still lurking
Vivian is, as of yesterday, 2 1/2 years old! I can't believe how big she's gotten. She's even spent the last 3 nights sleeping in HER room in HER bed! She's in a swim class with a 4yr old and a 6yr old. She's my little fish! I can't believe she's going to start preschool this September, either! Yikes!
Irene is almost 6mos old already! It seems like time is flying even faster than it did when Vivian was a baby. She's even going to start swim lessons this Monday. She's just the happiest little thing, giggling and squirming all the time. She still hasn't really mastered rolling over, but I think that's just because she's so happy where she is. She grabs and chews on anything within reach and even managed to get a fistful of cornmeal pancakes into her mouth a couple of weeks ago. We're waiting until 6mo for solids, and I think she'll be completely ready, LOL.
I'm starting to see through the fog of mommyhood. It still takes me about 30min to get all three of us out the door every time, but at least I manage it

hi everyone,
reilly and i are still around. lurking most of the time
reilly is 6 1/2 months old now. what happy handful too..lol.. we are still bfing exclusively and loving it. i turned 43 a week ago. we are still ttc, but my period has not yet returned. i'm feeling like it may not happen to me again, but trying to stay positive and hoping for a baby sister or brother for reilly.

What a cutie Lori! She certainly sems to be thriving. Once you start to introdce food, AF will probably return. I usually intorduce at 6 mos., and that's when my AF would always return. Good luck on the ttc front.

Re: May updates on graduate Moms, babes and children
Hi everyone! I cannot believe how cute Vivian is. Anyhoo, just coasting along over here. Dario is finally gaining some weight but is still in the 5-10% for weight after all his sicknesses this cold season. He sure is a good baby though. He is still not sitting yet by himself more than a few seconds at a time, but loves to practice. He eats like a pig and will eat anything I put into his mouth. Gianpaolo is will be 3 next month. My oldest daughter has gotten herself married and is moving to Seattle in a few weeks after she graduates from college. The other two are also doing well.

Aw, look at those sweet boys. And you've done so well with your weight loss program too! Good for you! Thanks for the update.
Gosh, I don't think I've updated here in a long while. My crew is good. The 3 eldest take piano lessons and are doing quite well. All the kids, even myself have been taking Tae Kwon Do. Nice family activity to do together. I'm coming up on a yr., and am progressing well. We just had my 8 yr. old finish some testing in school. She appears to have a mild ADHD inattentive type, so we are setting up some things to help her out with school next yr. She doesn't require any meds, just some strategies. My little guy, Kevin, had his kindergarten screening last week. I can't believe he'll be starting school in the Fall.
Then whatever will I do with myself?
