Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: January updates on Graduate Moms (Babies and Children mentioned)
Great idea!
Miss V is growing by leaps and bounds! I just got her feet measured for the first time and it turns out she is wearing a 6.5 wide! Looks like she might be taller than her mommy (I'm 5'11")! So we bought her her first pair of hard-soled shoes the day after Christmas and she loves them - she'll show everybody her new shoes everywhere we go now. Let the shoe addiction begin,

I htought I respended to this already.
A shoe fetish in the making. I always thought those 1st shoes were an exciting yet melancholy moment.
I'll have to come back and update myself when I get a minute.

LOL, Understood!
Her shoe fetish is off, indeed! She now has 3 pair of "real" shoes and she will tell me which ones she wants to wear, and will throw a fit if I try to put something else on her! Funny girl!
