Hello, well looks like I'll be getting back in the game after 1 successful IVF, 1BFN FET (only 1 embie survived the thaw) now we're probably going ahead and having a fresh IVF.
Here's my question regarding how many embies to put back. (I'm now 40) and am considering requesting having four embies.

I have no personal experience with IVF, but you may want to post your question on the IVF board. I have a friend who at 44 did 3 embies and got one viable child each of her 3 successsful IVFs. I've been TTC natural for the last 39 cys now.

I have no experience with IVF. I conceived all my pregnancies naturally, 2 after 40. This is #6 for me, with 4 additional chemical pregnancies. Good luck in the TTC game.

I second Jacqueline, the IVF board is a great place for this question! There are also quite a few gals on the IUI board that have gone through IVF that could give you some great advice.

Me, I did a total of 3 IUIs after TTC naturally for 2 years. The first one was unmedicated and unsuccessful, the second one was femara, injectibles, and successful at 38 yrs old, and the third one was also femara and injectibles and successful at 40 yrs.

Likewise, I have never tried IVF. We nearly attempted one try using a DE, but that never happened because the RE discovered I was already preg on my own.

I was leary of doing IVF at all at 40 or 41, because the stats were so low and the cost so high. It's a personal choice and finances need to be considered, I'm sure.

I agree with the other girls, your best advise is going to come from ladies over at IVF or IUI.
