Has anyone doen follistim and IUI? If so what day did u start your meds and how much did they start you on. my med are going to be here Tuesday ,af on wednesday.

I did two cycles of Follistim. I believe I started the injections on day 3. I think the dose I was taking was 175 units. I ovulated early both times on my own, so never got to the IUI, as planned. I conceive on my first Follistim attempt, with sex at home, but m/c at 8.5 weeks (Turners Syndrome).

Ultimately, I conceived this pregnancy entirely without help.

thanks Lori I am 45 and this is my last time of trying anything. Does anyone remember how much water to mix with the hcg.I can't member what the RE said.I have call so much that I just can't call again.

I did Follistim when I got pg with my dd, Here is what the doc had me do.
09/14/05 Start 1st IUI cycle (with Injetables) 75iu cd 3-12 150iu cd 13-18 trigger on cd19 IUI on cd21 BFP

I hope all goes well with you and that you get a BFP this month. I know that it only took me one month, but the dr kept a close eye on me to make sure I didn't O early and they gave me a trigger shot to make me O right before the IUI. I was going about every other day to get ultrasounds before I got PG.
