Well 5 minutes after I wrote my good morning post, I got a call from the embryologist we have 7 EMBABIES plus 2 immature fertilised with good possibilities yet and 3 fertilised but still growing and not sure yet....about those 3

Thats the story and they are sticking to it LOL

Guess it wasn't so bad after all that worry

we only ended up with the final number of 7. So we will work with what we can, and see how many survive the thaw .

Did i mention I found a woman to be a known donor?
This is not dh's pg cousin LOL.

I was corresponding by email and didn't think she was serious, she lives in London which is one hour away from here and also is in the city of the clinic we would have to use. She is charging 4K for one cycle.

She has donated for other couples and they all ended up with between 17 to 25 mature eggs, all ended up with BFP's too!

I called my OB/GYN and am getting us referred to the clinic, all of her stuff and mine is all updated so looks like there won't be too many roadblocks or time involved b4 she can start. She has her psych screening already completed also.

I thought better to go ahead and retain her just in case we don't get a BFP in March. Donors are almost impossible to come by in Canada.
We can't really afford to do a complete cycle so this way we can use dh sperm and freeze whatever numbers we end up with.

I am quite confidant now having this for back up we will eventually get a BFP.
This certainly will allow many attempts for a FET.

Its funny how things have worked out, ALTHOUGH I know we will be SPENDING alot more money, that part is definitely NOT over!!!

Anyhow I am alot more calm actually way more calmer about my infert issues.
I spoke with her on the phone and she sounds like a beautiful human being.
Who knows we may get enough to donate and help another couple eventually.

Anyhow I am resting today - forcing myself to stay in bed and EAT and nurture myself. All the kids are at school or at daycare.
Dh and stopped fighting called a truce and had a great morning quickie LOL

BTW did it occur to you that we may be at the clinic the same week???
My date is tentative march 6...... you wrote first week of march also???

Melissa.................I do believe they try to do all of "that" months
transfers on the same day. That would be a hoot! I will be thrilled
with 7 that would give us at least 3 tries.....I am so happy to hear
that you wound up with 7.........and that you have the other lady
near you for the future should you need her.....
I start the estrogen patches on Feb15...............for 2 wks then first
week of March we're a go.............or so says Kathy??
I dont know if donor started her stims I think they said she started
lupron.....I am praying for both of us to get our bfp!
Tom is not getting excited yet he is a pessimest (sp)?
he wont allow himself to get excited until we have a confirmed preg
thats the realist in him...

Thanks for the nice compliments, that is Lleyton one of my twins .
I am off until the end of March also. i think I may start acupuncture i sure have talked about it enough, and trying to put on weight still LOL
MY OB/GYN called and we got our referral for the Ontario clinic so i am prettty thrilled.
Realistically tho only 60-70% IMHO of FET survive thaw which will leave us probably only the one time.
But we will see.......cos they are froze before hatching i think.

Anyway that would be a hoot for both of us to be done the same day!!!!
