Back on-line ... got a new monitor!
So, here there I was last week, waiting patiently (NOT) for Barbara to report on her u/s ... and my monitor goes kaput!  I wasn't a very happy girl!
So, Barbara ... I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS  on your great u/s, your  little beanie sac and your fantastic beta #'s. You must really be on  !!
I feel like I'm a day late and a dollar short lately! Maybe I'll get back on track soon! Time to start more  !

I'm violenly ill....I havent been able to eat just drink some gatorade
or gingerale. As I was wretching in the bathroom 1/2 the night
I kept thinking to myself ( God 4give me)
I dont know how long I cold put up feeling this way. Tom is gone
three quarters of the day..so it's just me and the critters just laying
doing nothing b/c I am very ill.
I hope I can make the car ride to Cooper on Thursday.
I think I would feel so happy if I didnt have my head in the toilet
3/4 of the day.
Sorry for the rant...I am just not good being confined and sick.

Barbara, just take comfort in the fact that the reason you are sick is because you're PREGNANT Talk to your doc at Cooper, there are several meds that work wonders on MS (and safe when you're pregnant) and if you are so sick you can't keep anything down it's worth it.
Things should get better for the 2nd trimester!

I know girls that they say when you get m/s its a great pregnancy
I believe this...but I feel so terrible...I am about coping by the tips
of my fingers.
One of the docs called me back from Cooper and right now she would
rather have me increase my fluid intake b4 she perscribes meds.
She said I should drink even if it makes me throw up.
The risk is not worth the meds but she said she would call something
in...I have my next appt this Thursday so if I'm not better by then
here comes the meds.

I'm so sorry that you're sick Barb. And yes, it's supposedly a good thing. I know that's not all the comforting when you're tossing your cookies 24/7!  I was like that with my very first pregnancy, until the day she was born! That's how I started off my day, so I got up for work 1/2 hour early to get it over with and then go about my morning! It'll be over before you know it. If you're gonna have to be sick, I can't think of a better reason! Thankfully you don't have to go to work and you can just concentrate on YOU all day long.
Ask what some of these other ladies have done to help lessen their sickness. Everyone has different methods that worked for them ... maybe something would work for you too. My Doc was against meds also. I would roll over and eat a few saltine crackers before I ever even sat up, let alone got out of bed. Plus, I was weird, and mild foods, like they suggest, did NOT work for me! I was better off with heavy, spicey stuff ... mexican, italian, etc. Ironically, those are my DD's 2 favorite things now! Coincidence?!
Pop in and unload on us whenever you can. We don't mind if it sounds like you're complaining! You can still be overjoyed about being pregnant and NOT like how you're feeling! It's okay!! Morning sickness is NO fun and nobody is going to expect you to enjoy it!
