Icon6 Advice appreciated!

Hi Ladies, what a predictament!

Change of plans- OB/GYN refused today to to Rx the scripts from the US. As he stated he is not an IVF doctor and WHO will be responsible if something happens. There was also an issue of the drugs, in the US they are different which meant he would have had to do a comparable drug here in Ontario.

So I call New Jersey and they are couriering the Rx's to me,. might be overnight her for tomorrow might be 3-4 days through customs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if i start the Lupron a few days late would that affect my cycle????? I am assuming that is based on the thickness of my uterine lining doing a DE-DS transfer??? I read up on Lupron and it I think it only supressess ovaries??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry but I can't be much help with that question.
I did however want to offer my support.
Let's hope the courier gets here sooner, rather than later(1 day as opposed to 3-4).

Can't your OB give you Lupron or something comparable to it just to tide you over? Isn't the lupron to prevent you from ovulating too soon and to control your cycle? I don't really know...
I'm praying this will all work out.

Missy I dont know what the heck is going on here
either. I talked to Kim tdy b/c I am so overwhelmed with
this package. My medical ins covers no ivf and we have no
mandates in NJ for any ivf help.....so unfortunately this for
us is the only way we can go.... I cant even start bcps b/c
I dont have af...so they said no lupron for me....for now.
I may have to have my portion of the eggs "frozen" for my
transfer...I might not "meet" up with my donors ER
our cycles wont be synched
I have my mammogram on Jan16....my med clearance appt
next Monday ( appts hard this time of year due to flu clinics)
I am praying we both get enough eggs to get more than one
chance if this cycle doesnt get our bfps...........
I'm def nervous to the point of feeling sick...but I am trying to
relax as much as possible....
Like Tina not too sure about the lupon.....
and I am sorry yr doctor didnt fill out the scripts for you.
I hope they come asap so you can start them.
We still have to get the forms read and signed....dh was doing so
much around here today that he said "not today ok" I am trying
not to push so many overwhelming topics but with this one
we cant drag our feet and I am the one doing the paper work
shuffle...As you know the papers have to be back by 7 days
so I am going to have to push him on Thursday.... he is not
a paperwork man I do all the peddleing (sp)??
enough about me....I am in your shadow Missy..........
following your cycle closely....feeling all that your feeling.
I hope by the time I read your updates yr package will be at yr
door...let us know how you make out with your meds.
Good Luck from my heart!!

Sorry, I can't help either but also wanted to lend my support. One thing I've learned is sometimes when things seem to be falling apart is when a miracle happens

Good luck and stay hopeful

Oh gosh, I'm not much help either. I do hope the meds come sooner than later.

I'm hoping that both your cys work out just perfectly to speed your li' miracles into your arms.

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."
