Default trimmer twins mama

***lurking****

Do you mind sharing the effects of progesterone cream that you have seen so far? I see in one of the posts you say that you have lost some weight. Is it because of preogesterone or anything else?

My OB has also mentioned that I might have low progesterone levels. She has not prescribed a cream for me yet, but I am doing some research on my own.

THanks in advance.

Hi Meenu! Sure I LOVE to share! I have offiially dropped 13 pounds today. I was 168 pounds 2 months ago and used the cream for two cycles. I weighed myself this morning and I was 155. I do think the cream has had some effect. I've been less tired, less bit@hy, my sex drive has perked up, my periods were more regulated, NO cramps or clots and I'm drinking more water and less coffee too.

I noticed that I did get a bit more emotional the last week I used the cream, but then I'm commuting from Colorado to California every week and I hate leaving my family. So my emotions are a bit unstable right now with my job giving me grief about my travels and the amount of time I'm working LIKE 57+ hours a week is not ENOUGH!!

thanks.

One more Q, how long was your cycle before you started progesterone and was the lenghth affected on starting ptogesterone?
Mine seem to be getting slightly longer these last few months after my m/c in Nov.
When I talked to my Ob, she said that it might be due to proesterone deficiency that was discovered when I was pg. She has not done my day 21 progesterone test.
so I was wondering if progesterone will help shorten my cycle.

I actually had a short cycle of heavy bleeding for 3 days then nothing now I'm tapered off the heavy bleeding and would say I'm more moderate for 3 days and light for a few more after that.

Hi Cinnamon......thanks for the info. What brand of progesterone cream are you using? I am thinking of trying it myself.....but I don't know if my levels are low or not. I did miscarry in January at about 6 weeks....and considering my age, 38, I am really beginning to think it might be the case. I have been experiencing irritability and a drop in libido, especially since the miscarriage. Do you stop using the cream after the first trimester? Thanks!

Thanks again Cinnamon,

I think that I will try progesterone this cycle after I O. My only concern is that I should be able to use it right or my cycle will get extended again. 38-40 days is long enough for me.

Emerita (Whole Foods is where I got it)

Is the brand I am using until my step mother sends me the brand she sells.
