Default Tested and (pg) mentioned

Hi Ladies, don't know if anyone remembers me considering i haven't poseted here in awhile but i just read another post about being 35 and pregnant and the risk for downs and i was a lil bit relieved to hear your stories of healthy babies,i am 35 and will be 36 when the baby is born
I have to ask anyone that has seen the heartbeat & then m/c after, How did you feel when you became pregnant again?
I don't feel pregnant at all ,like no symptoms other then i'm hungry a lot ...I am so scared that this baby to will be a loss that i don't even acknowledge yet that i am truly pregnant.....
just would love to hear some succes stories....
Thanks Ladies, Kim

Congratulations Kim! I had 2 losses before my daughter. I went on to have a healthy pg with her and then my son as well. Im now in a new ball game since I'm 39yrs old and have had 2 losses at 8 wks. But I have faith that I will have another baby and everything will be fine. Just have faith and take care of yourself and the rest is in God's hands. (I know it is easy to say and hard to follow). We are thinking of you!

I was worried when I first found out I was pg and had no symptoms.

They all laughed at me here saying I would be back in a few weeks eating my words.

Once you have a loss its like all your innocence is gone. Unfortunately, its like you can never really enjoy your pg again. All it takes is one loss, to ruin it for all subsequent pregnancies.

And what you are going through is completely normal. Many of us will try and stay `detached` because the pain is simply so hard to bear. So , dont beat yourself up too badly sweetie.

The truth is that you are far more likely to have a healthy pregnancy than to suffer another loss or have any issues. And knowing that will probably not help you calm down in the least. But it is true.

{{{BIGHUG}}}

I wish you a happy, healthy and BORING 9 months. I cant wait to hear more about this little guy!

Kim,

I had a m/c at 13 wks (and we did see the hb at around 10 wks) and then got pregnant again 2 years later and had a healthy baby girl! I was a lot more nervous with the second pregnancy, and so I obsessed over every symptom (or lack there of). I remember actually feeling more irritable and cranky with the first one. Anyways I will pass on to you what my RE said to me when I called up paniced about my boobs not feeling sore one day, she said at this stage the only reliable indicator of a good pregnancy are the betas. All the other early pregancy symptoms can vary a lot from day to day.

HTH
