I havent posted much or said much on this list because its seems so quite.

I am 37yo single trying for her 1st and more than likely her last baby. I have been trying for what seems like years after a miscarriage in 04. I am doing this alone and can only afford a few trys a year because of financial and personl costs.

Well I lucked out this year on try IUI #3 and got my on July 28th. I have had several HCG counts done and the last on Monday was 7501 up from 738 the week before. I had a quick U/S done last week because of persistant pain in my right side, I am expecting 1 little bean. You could barely make out the fetal pole. I have another appointment this Friday to hopefully see the heartbeat and then I graduate from the RE to an OB.

I would like to see this list a little more chatty.

Wow. Looks like i started a trend with being a single woman trying for a baby. You're the 3rd one, and i don't feel quite so alone and alien anymore for what i'm trying to do. I'm just curious, and you don't have to answer, but did you use an anonimous donor or a helpful friend?

Congrats! What wonderful news! I think you made a great decision. I turned 39 last week, and I'm due in about 10 days.

I used an anonimous donor. I didnt really have anyone in mind the past few years when I was trying. Not sure that I am being totally fair to my child but I have enough male friends and a BIL that I am sure will help out in being a manly influence. I just know I want a baby and I cant wait to meet him or her.

I have my 1st looksee tomorrow and I am excited and afraid. I have had enough signs/symptoms the past few days to say that 'yes you are pregnant' but I am at the point I m/c the last time.

I am happy to have found others that are in my shoes. Congrats Missy, may your labor be short if you are going natural. And LMaKenna, I wish you luck too. It is great to know that you are not alone.
