STILL HOPEFUL (CARRIE) HOST IVF BOARD

Carrie and her DH been together since April 14, 1993, they were in 9th grade when he called to ask her out . He was the new kid in Jr. High school and she had a huge crush on him, so much so, she joined the track team to meet him. And to this day, she is still running and it's a wonderful stress reliever for her.

They have been TTC #1 since May of 2006, 4 loooonnnnggg years, but she remains STILL HOPEFUL...her and her DH would love three children, but she said for now, they'll take one.

Many people might not know that Carrie does NOT LIKE chocolate! The taste is revolting to her!!!

Carrie is currently the host of the IVF Board and is doing a fabulous job...she happened upon SK a while back and had been lurking for about three years. She became active on the boards about a year or so ago, on the IVF board when she was doing her last cycle of IVF, when her and her DH traveled to the Czech Republic. They are currently saving up for another cycle.

Carrie is a wonderful, caring person and we want nothing more than to see her dream come true. She is a very strong woman and her screen name says it all, as she is always ready with a cheerful response and spreading around her hopefulness We're glad to have her on SK!

MOJITO FREEZE

1 cup finely crushed pretzels
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 - 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
Zest and juice from 1 large lime
2 TBSP fresh mint, finely chopped
1 3/4 cups whipped topping, thawed and divided
fresh mint - garnish

How to make it

Mix pretzel crumbs and butter.
Press onto bottom of plastic wrap-lined 9" round pan.
Freeze until ready to use.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, zest, juice and mint until well blended (add green food color, if desired)
Whisk in 1 cup whipped topping; and spoon over crust.
Freeze for 4 hours or overnight. Use remaining whipped topping and mint or lime to garnish.

You may also triple the recipe and use a 9 x 13" pan.

WANNA-B-MOM (NOELLE)

Noelle and her DH have been together 14 years this September, and Married 4 years this June. They met through a mutual friends when they were just 14, kissed in a ruin of a castle near where she lives and didn't meet again for another 3 years - they ran into each other when they ended up working together, the rest as they say is history.....

Noelle has been on the SK boards since February 2009 and has currently been trying for baby #1 for the last 4 years. She would ideally LOVE two children.

All her friends "mates, as she says in Ireland" tell her she is quirky, she like things done just so, and is a pit of a perfectionist - even how she eat her meals . Noelle loves photography and music - they are her main passions! She is big into alternative therapies, as they've helped keep her feet on the ground and her head up.

TTC#1 loves having her on "board" She always had wonderful advice!
