ICKY HSG test tomorrow - yippee!!!

Well ladies, I'm having another HSG test tomorrow and I'm so not looking forward to it. My RE thinks that I may have some scar tissue under my right tube and needs to make sure that my tubes weren't damaged with my D&E done in April.

He gave me some darvocet and some antibiotic (doxy-something or other) to take before the procedure. Now being that I've been through this before 18 months ago, I know what to expect; sheer pain for about 5 seconds, but I'm happy to know that we'll have conclusive answers after the test's complete.

I'm not anxious, scared, just dreading the icky feeling that I know that I'm going to feel. Thank God that the mind can forget pain! I'm even getting to relax to and from as my husbands actually going to get out of bed before 8 am and drive me. I feel so loved!

Take care and keep me in your thoughts. Pray that nothing horrible is in store and that I DON'T have to have surgery to correct anything. That would put me back a few months and I'm running low on time!

Hi Amy! I hope your test was fast and painless today and that it shows nothing to impede a quick pregnancy for you! Who's your doctor? Whoever it is, I wish they were mine! My obgyn told me to take an Advil before the test - I almost fainted on the table! LOL!

Keep us posted on the results and be sure to rest a while.

Whew, am I glad that's over. Turned out that everything's clear and eggs are growing, a bit slower than normal though. At least things are looking up for us... let's hope that this cycle works!

Glad that all is well. Can't wait to see your BFP pretty soon. For some odd reason, there always seems to be a increased chance of conceiving after a HSG. I'm trying to think up an excuse to get my doc to give me one ;-)
