I'm currently in the 2ww, and I'm trying for my first child.

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while now, and you seem like such a lovely group. I'm very pleased to be joining you. I've wanted to have children for years, and wanted to meet the "right" man, but it just didn't happen until now. In fact, for the last couple of years, I had been getting pretty discouraged, thinking I might never meet that man and have a chance to become a mom. I guess I'm kind of old-fashioned... so this is my first serious relationship. Joshua and I have been best friends for eight years now, but I guess timing is everything, and we got together this year. He is the love of my life, and now I'm glad that I waited for him. I feel very lucky to have found someone so special. We each have one fur-baby, and Joshua has two wonderful teenaged children. He's a fantastic dad! He is excited about having another child with me. I'm excited, and nervous, and scared, and eager all at the same time. But I'm definitely ready!

Clara nice to see you came out of lurking and are joining us.

I too never thought I would have children until my DH came into my life although everyone kept saying how great I am with children. I saw friends getting married for alot of wrong reasons and I didn't want to do that but at the same time I felt so left out. So, here I am now at 36 TTC my first child and although we have a little road block in our journey, we are praying for it to clear in HIS time. Until then, I LOVE hanging aroud all these lovely ladies and sharing in both their joys and sorrows.

Thank you for the welcome. This does seem to be such a wonderful place! It's nice to have a place to share with other people who are going through the same things.

I feel just as you do -- that if it is meant to be, it will happen -- and God has a plan for each of us. I wish you all the best and hope you have a beautiful baby very soon.

Hi Clara!! Welcome!!

This really is a beautiful place full of beautiful women. We drop in and drop out so sometimes it seems a little sleepy but we're always around. Always here. I won't be around so very much anymore but you are in great hands with such wonderful women.
