My name is Tami the mother of a 20 month old born at 28 weeks 4 days weighing in at a big 1lb 9ozs.

We are planning to TTC in Feb/March. I turn 37 in April 07. I had 3 mc's before having Hadleigh. I have had genetic testing and it has been determined that I have PAI disorder (clotting) and that Lovenox and Heprin are the key for me to carry to term. Getting pg has not been the issue it has been staying that way.

Anyone with experience with the anti clotting drugs?
What should I know about being pg over 35? I delivered before I turned 35 although I was due after my birthday....LOL

I am thinking this will be the one and only try because the mc's are so heartbreaking. If it does not work out we will adopt.

Hi Tami,

I can't say that i have much "experience" with anti-clotting drugs, since i was only on it for a little over a week. Blood clots run in my family, so for my last pg, the dr had me start taking lovenox shots (it's a form of heprin). Unfortunately, i had a m/c for other reasons. However, if i get another bfp, i'm going to assume that i'll be taking the shots again.
