Happy Holidays!! (Pg ment)

Jess and Michelle, are you the only "old timers" left? Well, to all the wonderful ladies who shared this board with me over the last 6 long years: HELLO!! You didn't think I'd let the holidays slip by without coming to wish you a Merry Christmas/Happy Channukah and letting you know you are all in my heart and prayers, did you?

The board has changed quite a bit, but I know you ladies are still out there. And I love you and miss you all.

The pregnancy is doing extremely well. As you all know, it's a boy. And he's a big one: At 28 weeks, the peri was estimating a weight of 3.5 lbs (that's based on actual measurements, not fundal). So, they're thinking he'll come in at least 8.5 lbs from 37 to 40 weeks. He does have the cord wrapped around his neck, but that's common in 15% of all pregnancies, so I'm hoping it'll resolve itself. If not, they know it and will take the proper measures to ensure his safety. The blood flow was great through the cord though, and the NST showed him to be fine and relaxed. He's a mover and a shaker, loves to dance! He responds to music and to Michael's voice very quickly.

Other than that, all is stellar. I'm on moderated bedrest (My doc commanded me to be "lazy". I was more than happy to comply). All I do is watch TV, eat chocolate, and shop online. This is THE life.

Dee, I wasn't around when you were posting, but I wanted to say that your baby looks beautiful! Enjoy all that chocolate! If it makes Mommy happy, I'm sure it makes Baby happy too!

Btw, I had the cord wrapped around my neck when I was born... even back then, they knew how to take care of it, and your doctors have plenty of warning, so try not to worry.

DEE!!! My former NC friend (I moved, too)--been trying to catch up with you and leaving messages here on the board. Remember me?!? I'm an old timer (check grad stats) and hardly ever come here 'cept to check in on the other old timers!

I'm so glad everything's going well for you!!! YAY! I don't know what happened to make you leave the board, but I DO know that you deserve all the happiness that's coming to you. Please be sure and let us know how everything goes!

Oh Hello Dee...it's so good to hear from you. I'm not on the boards much anymore - pretty busy as I'm back to work, but I check periodically on the old timers. I'm so happy I did today - what a nice surprise. So glad all is well with your little guy. I can't believe how far along you are, boy does time fly. Please keep us updated when you get the chance. I can't wait till that fateful day when we get the post that your sweet boy has arrived...it will be a glorious day and proof positive that dreams do come true. Love you and please know you're always in my thoughts and prayers.

heart for months! What a georgeous pic of your son. My heart is
overfilled at this moment. I have written you several emails
and when I heard nothing back I was sure you were settling into
your new home and getting ready for your sons arrival.
How I have missed you.....you'll just never know.
I am glad all is ok..........stay healthy on bedrest and plz keep
us here who love u dearly and care about you ...the birth story
and yes pictures pictures and more pictures!
Wow....8 pounds! I cant wait to see him.

My Darling Dee! How I have missed you! I am so happy to hear that things are going great and that 'scooter' is doing so well. I sent off an email eon's ago, I'll have to track down Cinn to get the addy again. You have been in my thoughts and prayers and I would love to catch up with you!
