I got "O" this cycle. I didn't think it would happen, because it was getting later(cd18) and no sign, but...

Thank goodness there's at least a chance. And i saw my gyn today, and he agreed that if i don't get a bfp this time, he'll test to see if there are any hormone problems that need to be dealt with.

Not quite a bfp yet, but still a good day.

Hi All,

I think maybe i was wrong despite what the FM showed. The last 2 days i checked my temp (sorry about not updating my chart yet), and they were in the mid 97's. Not what i should have after O. Sigh.



I'm feeling a little lost here. This forum seems to be falling into disuse.
That makes me sad. Thankyou for everyone i've heard back from. I really do appreciate that. But where is everyone? It's really hard doing this alone. It seems like i turned 40, and so much just vanished. I've started to poke my nose into the over 40 board, but..... I've been here so long. I don't even know if there's anybody on there who's TTC#1, rather than #6 and even #13. I want to stay on here, but who's still here?

Did anyone see the movie Mulan? When they're on top of the mountain, deserted by everyone except MuShu the mini-dragon and the cricket. After MuShu admits what he didn't tell Mulan, and why it's his fault, and then the cricket admits that it's not really a lucky cricket and starts crying it's head off. That's what i feel like right now, especially the alone-on-the-mountain part.

I'm sorry you're feeling alone, Jess. I know it's hard to go through this month after month, without having other people around who are going through the same thing... especially since you're doing this on your own... that just makes it even harder, I know.

I do check in on you, and I'm always here for you if you need someone, okay?

I don't know how active the over 40 board is. When I had the m/c last fall, I met some women from the TTC after vas/tubal reversal board. Even though I hadn't gone through one, they welcomed me there, and they've been great. A lot of the women are a bit older, and they're all having issues with getting and staying pregnant. Some of them have been trying for a long time, so they understand how it feels. Some of the women married a man who then had a vasectomy reversal, so they don't have any children of their own yet. And honestly, they didn't make me feel out of place just because I hadn't had my tubes tied. They're all there for the same thing... trying to get pregnant when it isn't that easy. They were a real source of support to me. You might want to check it out. It's very active there, and there's no drama, just lots of support.

I hate that you feel so alone and sad and discouraged. I still believe you'll get to hold your own healthy baby, one day soon. Don't give up yet. Please let me know if there's anything I can do.

If I lived near you, I'd come over to give you a hug and a shoulder to cry on, so you wouldn't feel like you were by yourself. For now, I'll give you this kind...

Sigh!!!

No AF yet, but looks like i'll get it tonight or tomorrow. So....



For this next cycle, my ob/gyn has agreed to start me on clomid, but i still need to get him to write the prescription. I also will be having the tests done on day3 for FSH, LH, and Estrodial. Hopefully that will all come back ok.

Sigh! (much better than being grumpy and mopey)
