Default Cinnamon, here's my hair

These are the curls I'd like to get rid of. But even with a straightener it would take work so I'm just not sure. Sigh.

Dee, you have AWESOME hair, but, being a 'straight' hair born person, we pay big bucks to have hair like yours. Is that curl natural???????? I'd kill to have that, my is pin straight, doesn't curl well with an iron, so i don't bother doing anything with it, usually a ponytail

OH MY GOD you're a BABE!!! I love it!!! Just love it!!! You are a near spitting image to my cousin Rita!!

My fake curls are toned down by the frizz stuff you buy!

So, I have long frizzy/wavy hair and have decided to buy a flat iron. After shopping online and comparing I come up with the fact that flat irons have lead in the cord! It's on the warning lable to wash your hands after use because of the lead!!

I'll stick with the frizz, I guess. Anyone know of any products? It's not total frizz, really a wavy frizz and very dry.

I use John Frieda Frizz serum and I LOVE what it does to my hair. I also use a weekly hotoil treatment called Got2be Hott and it's FABULOUS!!

Curls are in!!!

The way I've gotten the worst of the frizz under control is by giving up shampoo. Sounds crazy huh? But it's done wonders. There's a website: www.naturallycurly.com that has a forum for "curly girl" ladies. Those of us who no longer shampoo. It's based on the book "Curly Girl" that outlines the whole routine. It really does wonders for many. Took me 5 tries before I was able to commit but I haven't shampooed in over 4 years. You could never tell though.

The Frieda products are great for many of us, but anyone whose hair doesn't like silicones won't be too happy with it. I say give it a try and see. It works great for me, but since I don't shampoo I don't use it too often.

I like to put Kenra's straightening serum in my damp hair and letting it dry naturally. My hair behaves so much better.

You should hit that site. Wavies are considered curlies too.

Dee,
I need to check that out for Clarise - her hair is a mane of curls. Thanks!
