I am new to this hold message board thing but would really like to share some info w/ anyone who is going thru ivf after one failed attempt. With my first ivf attempt I had a positive hcg test 133 on day 14 but my next blood test revealed the numbers dropped. I just started this cycle for a second attempt and am trying to be cautiously optimistic. Hard to do...If anyone has any info on success after chemical pregnancy I'd love ot hear it. Welcome Sweetie! I'm sorry about your failed cycle. I had one cancelled (oversuppressed), one failed (4 embabies but nothing), 2 miscarriages (natural too!), and one failed IUI.

I don't know if anyone will be sharing the cycle but you have plenty of company in the been-there-done-that category. We'd love to share the trip with you if you would like!

And keep in mind that the lucky number seems to be three. While it seems like everyone but us gets to be pg with their first IVF, the truth is that it takes the average woman (who ever she is) about three tries before her body figures out what she is trying to do!
