Default ?? about soy, vitex, maca, etc.

I generally know what these are for, but I am wondering should you only consider taking any of these if you have a problem, or is there one (or any) that just help with the conception process.

As far as I can tell, I don't have a problem with O, have a fine length of my LP, and my cycles are fairly regular.

okay...google the words " soy fertility " (without the quotes)

Every other article says Soy causes infertility...soy doesn't cause infertility...soy causes infertility....

Jeeshh....I really need to step away from the computer.

I would stay away from the soy honey. I'm with you. There is so much conflicting information, but given that we are already in a difficult place, I always try to err on the side of caution. If I can find another substitute then I try to go that way. Just to be safe (I don't use tampons anymore for that very reason; they probably don't hurt, but if I can't guarantee they help, then what does it hurt to forego!).

Have you read The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis yet? SHe has a wonderful questionnaire that really helps you to pinpoint what you need to work on and what the best supplements are. Just a thought!

I have not read it...thanks for the info.

I did buy some Dong Quai to take along with Vitex...but I only took it for one day and just didn't feel good about it.

So now I have started a new cycle, and as you can see from my chart I marked today as "light" but really it was spotting...same as yesterday. So I had a 2 Day cycle??? Could this be residual effects from my d&c?

Thing is (TMI to follow here) I was so excited with day 1 and day 2 because my flow was red...for the past year I've pretty much had a brown af and I was excited to see fresh blood...but a 2 day af can't be very good.

Is this what you meant with the soy? Great info on Soy!!

I'd be willing to give this a shot since it's not a prolonged thing. I'd only be worried about estrogen issues which are present with Clomid. Don't know if the same holds for the soy.

You need to get that book! If I can find the copies I made months ago I'll repost them.
