OMG, I don't even know how to start.
First, she was really nice and very patient with her explanations. After she looked at our case she thinks that our best chances are doing IVF b/c with my diabetes she doesn't want to waste time and money with clomid, injectables or IUI's. That is without forgeting DH sperm problem. So she said that our chances with IVF will be more then 55% of success

. I am having done a BETA, P4, E2(BTW I forgot what this test means) to make sure I am not PG....since I haven't got my period yet.
We were there for 2.5 hours. After the consult with the RE we had the first consult with the the financial advisor. It went very well, it was overwelming looking at all those numbers. We have 3 differents options.
1.Single cycle IVF $9,250+ Anesthesia $555+ ICSI $1,950+ Cryopreservation $685+ Storage of embryos $580+ OB ultrasound $260+ pre cycle testing $1,950+ pre cycle lab work $1,760+ meds $3,500= $20,490
2. Two cycle IVF package $18,545(includes all anesthesia, ICSI, and storage)+ OB ultrasound $260+ pre cycle testing $1,950+ pre cycle lab work $1,760+ meds $3,500= $26,015
3. Outcome Based plan, A plan where you can have up to 3 IVFs and if you don't finish with a live birth they will refund % from the money that you had paid. Cost $ 31,175
My hubby and I had talked and decided for option #2 b/c it give you a second chance in case that the first one is not successful. It is a lot of money and we don't have it....so we are doing an equity loan for that. Having another baby will be so worth it even though we will be so BROKE for years.
I have an appt with the nurse next Wed for all the pre cycle test, my IVF cycle will start in April and it will be finish by the second week of May. So I may be pregnant by May

I am so HAPPY!!!!!
Please let me know what you think about all this, and the prices. Are they similar to yours???
