Icon14 Update: 4 month checkup

Hi everyone, just had Myles 4 month checkup along with his shots which he screamed like crazy, he is now 13 lbs & 6 oz. and 25 inches, he has eczema real bad, my baby has been scratching and itching so the doc gave us a prescription to put on him, so we will see if this helps, we also use Eucerin which helps some.

We got the OK to try some cereal, so we are going to do that tonight, and start Stage 1 vegetable foods next week, so everything is going great with us, he is really adjusting to day care, so I am happy with that. I started back at work last week, it was so hard, but everything is getting back to normal, getting ready to start corresponding to another group of new students who have been admitted here at the University for the Fall 08 semester.

Take Care everyone.

Shots are no fun! I'm sorry about the eczema. We dealt with it on the face at 2 months. We still use Eucerin when his cheeks get dry. We also lather him with Cetaphil lotion because he gets patches on his back. The prescription should help.

I'm glad your transition back to work was fine. The foods are fun to try! Isn't it amazing how quickly they grow!

WTG, Miles!

Sounds like he's doing great! How does he like solids?

Hi Angie. Good update. Sorry about the eczema that must be awful. Have you tried Sarna? I used Sarna during my pregnancy for itchy skin. It can be found in Walgreens.

I hear you on going back to work. It took me awhile for it to feel almost ok to leave the babies at home everyday. But I still have my moments when I am sad to leave them. I'd rather be at home with them.
