Ok, now I have something else to worry about. I have PCOS, that was causing my If issues, and I have been taking metformin for about a year now. Well, new dr wants me to stop. Today I put up a fight about stoping and he says to call Kaiser and see what they were going to have me do. Well, they were goin gto have me stop taking metformin at 8 weeks and then test my sugar levels 4 days later to make sure I don't have gestation diabetes. GULP!!! Please don't let me have that!! I am a picky enough eater!!!

Licia: Good Luck on the job search and I really hope you don't have GD.

Mely: Sweetie I hope you caught the eggie.

Dh is feeling better..he gets over sicknesses fast...lucky guy. I'm doing well too.

Teece: The weather here is awful! It's so cold and still snow on the ground (which is very rare) it usually melts right away!! Oh how I want to move back to FL..

I hope this months gives you a BFP!! great job on the weight loss!!!!

Kelli: I can't wait to hear about your appt tomorrow!! So we were going to start watching 24 on TV and were on season 5 episode 13 (netflix) and it had a scratch and we had to send it back and did not finish season 5 in time to watch last night. I was bummed!!

Angie: I really believe you will be preggo soon!!! I will stick around

Tee: Hope the m/s lets up!! I heard it is worse with twins.

I'm doing well and glad you all want me to stay. I will be hopefully doing another IVF cycle in the summer. I'm still very nervous about it. The RE told me he would watch me very closely and make sure I do not have cysts before starting. I know my chances won't be very good with only one ovary, but it is worth a try. I won't give up hope. So that's it with me, I will try and stay caught up

Licia: I have 3 doctors telling me different opinions about the glucophage.
1. Get off it since you aren't diabetic. (ob)
2. Stop at 20 weeks and get insulin. (peri)
3. Stay on it until you need insulin. (endo)

Then I'll add my gp, who says that I do have a very high risk for GD.

I've been monitoring my blood sugar levels from the start. I've changed my eating habits and my levels are great. I just want to avoid GD and not experiment without meds right now. I've been told that gluc may just quit being effective. Therefore, IMO, if I go off meds, I'll be right back on them again and it's very likely.

Good luck with that battle. IMO, it's your decision in the end. I'm a very picky eater and am having a heck of a time finding things for meals. Thankfully, I don't have m/s, but I don't have an excuse to eat whatever.

I'm not sure how testing 4 days later is going to give you the free and clear for the rest of the pg. Typically women aren't tested until much later in their pregnancies for it, so 8 weeks seems a bit early to relax unless they have you testing your levels regularly.

Good luck. My peri said there's a large study being done in, I think, Australia right now and in a year or so they'll have some good date on glucophage and pregnancy. I'm too afraid to stop it since it's what helped me become pregnant. My body wouldn't have done it without the gluc/actos combo.

Janay/Kelli: I am hooked on 24 again after a 2 year hiatus (sp?).

Angie: thanks for the weightloss cheering! You are doing great too! My goal is to KEEP it off! For good.

Janay...DH records every episode of 24 and can usually convert it to a DVD so if you want to finish season 5 and want to get caught up to season 6, I can always mail you a DVD of it. So far this year, it's great!

Licia...Seems like Nancy has some wonderful ideas for you and the meds. I hope you figure things out soon!

Me...had my u/s at the RE's today! Baby Bean is measuring perfectly and his/her little

is beating away! I've officially graduated from the RE and will see my OB next Tuesday for my first appt with her!

OH, and he moved my due date to August 28th. I had figured it on my last

and the EDD being 8/26 but since my cycle was kind of screwed up d/t the IVF schedule, he said we have to go by my O date, which was Dec. 5th. OH, well...what's 2 days. I'm still gonna leave myself at August 26th until I see the OB next week.
