Icon5 Rx question...

Ugh, so I picked up my Rx for this cycle (clomid and my HCG injectable vials).

I couldn't find any info on storage of the HCG. So, I just kept in my my bags while we were traveling.

Today I left the HCG in the car for 4 hours today it was about 45-50 degrees out. Of course, on the way home I read to keep the vials stored between 57-86 degrees.

Big deal, no big deal? I will probably call the Pharmacist to check tomorrow (Or, am I just being paranoid?).

Thanks girls!

I'd call just to see, but I'm sure it isn't a big deal.

Teece...which type of HCG? I always had Profasi at the OB's office but I'll be using Ovidrel for my IVF cycle.

Here's a link to the Ovidrel info:
http://www.fertilitylifelines.com/se...el/storage.jsp
Don't know if that will help or not....

I'd say it's ok so as long as it wasn't frozen or too hot (like above the 90's)...if that happened, I'd be concerned but I think you're ok.

I'll check that link out. It was only a few hours and about 7 degress lower...

Any other thoughts are welcome, but like I said, I think I'm being a little paranoid.

Kelli: PS, it's not Ovidal. I did ask the Pharmacist (when I picked up) if it needed to be refridgerated and she said no.

Thanks again!

I know my hCG is always stored in the fridge at the pharmacy...but does it really matter? I didn't keep it in the fridge when I got it.

Its probably fine, I never stored mine in the fridge and just a few degrees is probably no big deal.
