MY IVF Plan!

Hey ladies!

As most of you know I had my IVF follow-up with my RE a few weeks back, and It went well, and I wanted to share what he said and what will be our next plan. First he really believes we can get more eggs this time (I was sick before the last cycle and he think that may have effected my eggs) and so he will up my meds to 600iu a day( Gonal-F and Menopur). We will add accupunture and a few other things to my protocol and hopefully with those changes it will be successful. He also said I had good looking embryos and by doing acupuncture that will up my chances by 20-40%, so I will definitely be doing that this next cycle

! Sounds like a great plan! I'm considering the acupuncture myself, especially since Nancy had such great luck!

So when does that put you starting again? A Dec/Jan cycle?

That's great! I'm sick now, so of course I am now worried about my silly eggs! I have been talking to them every night asking them to co-operate and that they might need to so some extra work in finding those spermies. I explained that mommy has to lots of extra work in general with daddy, so get used to it!

I might investigate actupuncture next cycle.

That's a great plan! Wow, 600 units. Will they decrease your suppression meds?

Teece..I was not just sick I had a GI infection for most of July and some of August so don't worry okay? I am sure you will be fine..You keep talking to them

Nancy I was posting the same time you were

They do not want me too supressed because of the endo so just BCP's for me at the front end and Antagon to stop me from Oing. That's what we talked about, but it's not in stone yet. I better at least three good ones to transfer back

That's what I am hoping for!! I will be doing acupuncture for sure this time! I am kicking myself for not doing it last time. HA!!

For some reason I thought they suppressed you. My goal had been to do ivf with acupuncture, but I kept putting off because I didn't know how to find a place and I didn't want to drive etc.

I wish there was some magical test to say what did work for success. KWIM? I didn't have all that much acupuncture. I believe the fact that we almost missed O since dh was out of town had a lot to do with it as well. There are so many factors! Like you said, it can't hurt so why not!
